WBC has declared that the fight between Lorenzon & Soto to be ruled a NC. Lorenzo was fined $2000 for his acting in the ring (unsportsman like conduct) :yep

Pacquiao must now decide whether he will fight Soto or vacate the 130 lbs title. Pacquiao has until July 28.

Im pretty sure Pac will vacate that title.

Whether Soto-Pac occurs that still remains to be seen.

This is ****in ridiculous. What about the ref who said foul was intentional? What about the doctor who said it was a concussive blow? Why the hell is Lorenzo the only one to face any consequences?

Lorenzo was a disgrace holding the back of his head acting and then when he was given the decision he raises both his arms in the air like he actually did something worth celebrating.:nono

I think it is absolutely absurd that Lorenzo gets a fine and he was nearly dead in the ring. HOW THE **** WAS HE "A C T I N G"

    WHAT THE ****?

I am super glad for Soto because he got screwed big ****ing time by the horrible decision by Cortez, And the ring Doctor who NEGLECTED to give Lorenzo any kind of serious ring side attention for his health.

    What a ****ing disaster! :patsch:patsch:patsch

first off the wbc is not a sanctioning body. therefore, how do they rule the fight a nc.

the nsac is the only one who can make that call.

    but more b.s. from sulaiman

just for the hell of it i would love to see lorenmzo's people sue the wbc

The WBC must like being sued.

Did they not learn anything from a certain "previous" lawsuit?

The WBC is a ****ing disgrace. Maybe Soto got hosed, but this doesn't make that right.

In the end, Soto would be champ, if he didn't throw that shot when Lorenzo was down and hit him on the back of the head. Soto did it, end of story. Rules are rules.

If you play close attention to the replay, the blow that landed after lorenzo was down was hard enough that it cut him in the back of the head....i'm not sayin that a DQ was right as Soto was in the process of throwing the punch while lorenzo was going down and couldn't hold it back, i'm saying that the punch did hurt lorenzo and it's a goddamn shame that they're fining him.

It should just be a NC and thats it.

    Objective point. :yep

This is the first time I've heard a boxer was fined for acting . . . and the Ref that screwed up receives no penalty or punishment?

Declaring the fight an NC is logical . . . but the fine is stupid.

Where did you get the idea that Pac is vacating his title? That's trash!

Pac holds the WBC 135 title and Soto is not a mandatory . . . in fact he doesn't have the interim title yet because the fight with Lorenzo is an NC.

    :rofl :rofl :rofl
