You'd have to burn 3200 kcal of fat a day to lose it. That's a deficit of 3200 kcal, not total expenditure.
It's possible but I wouldn't advise it. Back when I boxed at 81kg, at a natural healthy weight of 88kg, I used to do something like that. I was basically eating a little bit of musli in the morning, then only a light soup with no meat for lunch, and then a small salad in the evening. I was also running heavily in the morning, then going to the gym, then running again (or going on an exercize bike in the evening). I started looking **** in the gym, trainings were pretty much pointless, and I spent most of the day sleeping (good thing I didn't have a job back then). I lost most of my fights that year, moved up a weight and did decent. If you are 7kg too heavy cause you have too much fat, then you should just get some discipline and gradually lose the weight, and then keep it that way. If you actually are at your best weight now, then forget about it. It's not going to help you in the long run. You are not a pro, so you dont have rehydration time.
Liposuction or cutting your leg seems to be the most healthy option ;-) Otherwise losing 7.5 kg in 3 weeks is just too quick IMHO. If you are serious, I think the most realistic way would be to lose as much as you can during those 3 weeks and then dehydrating the rest just for the weigh-in. I would also consider getting Hagler-like haircut to lose additional couple of ounces ;-) More seriously, I am in no way suggesting it is a wise thing to do. I am planning to lose some (~10 kg) weight myself, and I am thinking about half a year.
Alright guys cheers, It was only really after i posted this thread that I realised the enormity of this task and I've decided just to move up a weight for the championships. Only thing is I'm worried there might actually be no one else in at this weight so that will be an absolute gutter.
depends what you weigh, i am 103k and i have to get down to 98k in 2 weeks and that sucks, but i can loose 2k before the weigh in.
11-9 achilles, won four in a row against senior opposition and then I went in the senior regional championships despite still being a junior and got stopped off of a big puncher who was about mid twenties. I don't think it was my boxing ability that let me down just my maturity. I got rocked with a good shot and i went back onto the ropes and took about three or four more big shots before i got a count, i then went back out and took a big right hand which put me down but I wasn't really shaken up or anything. I got up and the ref stopped it. He knew I was only a kid and actually told me to keep my hands up before the bell went lol.
