Um....I know a guy who lost his first 8 and he still keeps going. I lost a lot of early fights, some that I shouldn't have too. It happens to everybody. If you love it just keep doing it.

Of course you should keep going. It's just a couple of losses, no biggie. I've lost 3 out of my last 4 fights. As long as you learn something from it, which it sounds like you did, then continue. When it is no longer fun for you to train and compete, that's when you consider quitting.

Dont give up son. Come on. You get what you put in. Unless you hit 0-50(dead serious), then you should not quit. thats right. Even 0-49 you should carry on

Of course you should continue. You learned that you need more conditioning, and maybe some more sparring, so work on those things and keep it up and eventually it will show in you W/L column.

i lost my first 2 fights also and both times was down to lack of preparation as a novice and fighting fellow novices 75 % of a fight is conditioning so PREPARE

I lost my first fight and now I have won my last four. I think I just got more pissed and determined to win the next. As for sparring. I spar at least once a week, sometime versus multiple guys (not at the same time, like take turns with them for 6 rounds) I gotta say I dont really like your trainer though putting you in a fight before you've even sparred. Shake your finger at him for me.
