Agree with this, except Beterbiev shouldn’t move up to cw. I doubt he wants to retire in a hospital bed after fighting someone like Opetaia.
If someone is getting too much credit for basic boxing, he is hypejob for me. None one of these two have done something to be considered "TOP" you have very low standards for your boxers, just because they are from your country you call them top. when in reality they are average at best(at least for now)
You’re a goose. Both are undefeated and both are pretty roundly regarded as the best guys in their division.
This content is protected Big gap between 1, 2 and the rest sans Gvozdyk who even though he's been inactive and is on the comeback trail is an ex world champion who has only lost once and has beaten better opposition tha all the Brits ranked above him. Why is Yarde ranked so high when his best win by miles is Lyndon Arthur who he's 1-1 against and who is fringe world level at best and everyone else Yarde has beaten are binmen? He's ranked #4 in the world despite being 1-3 at fringe world level and above, 2 of those losses via KO/stoppage, and he's already received 2 world title shots and thinks he deserves a third very soon despite the fact he's never beaten anyone world class once? I get that Gvozdyk has been inactive but even during his comeback trail at the lower level he has beaten Bolotniks who is better than anyone Yarde has ever beaten and obviously Gvozdyk is, as said, a former world champion with just one loss, and he has beaten world class opposition and contrary to what Yarde says Gvozdyk gave Beterbiev his hardest fight not him. Callum Smith is 1-2 at LHW so why is he above Gvozdyk too?
Does not mean anything when you have beaten weak/old guys in a weak divisions. you can't even have an agrument, without calling me some names online. pathetic.
As much as I like Bivol, and rate his skillset, I simply don't see him knocking out Beterbiev. That means he's going to have to outbox him and keep him off for 12 rounds, which is technically possible...and maybe Bivol will put on a masterclass and nullify Artur's strongest attributes. Personally, I think Beterbiev can eventually get to him and will win by a stoppage late on.
Callum Johnson was one of the biggest punchers in the division, Bivol is feather fisted by comparison.
Any ranking below third place within LHW would be unrealistic. Therefore, IMHO the winner was not LHW No.1, and the defeated LHW No.2 or No.3.
It’s not an argument though. Your position is reductive, ignorant and should be called out. You don’t even really have an argument.
