Provided Usyk wins the rematch and Wilder is still interested in boxing, this would be a big fight to make. Who wins?
If Wilder stops weight training and gets his cardio up he could beat AJ. But to be honest I’m not sure what this last beating took from him and what will be left.
I would have to favor Joshua considering Wilder’s age, style, and the fact that he looked horrible in the last fight with Fury. Wilder relies a lot on his natural agility (which is deteriorating fast) and being able to outlast his opponent until he gets the knockout, but with him being 36 he’s going to need to start relying on ring smarts if he wants to stay relevant.
I'd be pretty confident betting on Wilder. Can Deontay take a clean shot off of Joshua? Yes. Can Joshua take a clean shot off of Deontay? Lol. It's a bombing contest and I'd put my money on the guy who can take a shot.
Not much in it and never was, but I think AJ was always a little bit ahead of Wilder and certainly proved more. Further to that, Wilder looks more the damaged goods.
No wonder bookmaking is a profitable exercise. Good fight, should happen. It's a pathway back for the winner & the loser should recognise that it's time to hang them up. Also if anyone ever chooses to write a book about alphabet H/W champions, it would be nice to know definitively who should be ranked higher. The bloke with longevity of title reign or the bloke who won the most belts. I'd give it to the bloke who wins this fight.
Joshua is looking chinny atm. So if Wilder lands its probably goodnight. Saying that as a Joshua fan. Joshua has better boxing skills but it's about being effective. Not sure who will wins this.
I'm not really concerned with counting alphabet title defences so I'm not aware of the precise number & don't really have any interest in knowing. What you've said sounds about right but I'd prefer to see them fight before ranking one above the other for all-time's sake.
Big dosser by KO. Bodybuilder got stunned 6-7 times by Usyk. Even big dosser's barely landed punches drop him.
