One pound makes all the difference to me.

Also, Cotto fought the wrong fight. Pre-Margo Cotto, or the Cotto that fought Foreman with a proper game plan, would easily out-box Pacquiao.

    And Pacquiao is on steroids.

And Mayweather is better than Sugar Ray Robinson.

Some assholes have been discrediting Ward winning every single round against Green...they'll always find a way. It's all a load of bull****.

He's not 10 stone though, he fights at 10st but his walking around weight isn't that.

You're completely ignoring the other 10 or so pounsd preceding this one pound.

lemme use pacquiao for an example..he DID NOT want to fight a past it Cotto unless that past it cotto came at a catchweight..Yes it DOES make a difference..

chicken manny was ALSO too coward to fight a COMPLETELY past it morales..aswell...well..unless morales came in at the same weight he competed in against pac previously..we all knew a past it Erik couldnt make the weight.. but does that matter to chicken manny?? so pac ofcourse [we NOW know] injects his steroids and fights a dehydrated skinny pale version of erik and gets treated like god when he beats erik..cause we ALL KNOW erik was the UNDERDOG in the FIRST fight with manny..

so lets give pacquiao FULL credit for beating a dehydrated past it erik..

pacquiao gets FULL CREDIT for fighting past prime has beens..

so in this case also..yes it DOES make a difference..

Cotto fought the wrong fight? Was Manny expected to go in there and bully Miguel? Is that what you expected to happen? Cotto fought the way which I got him to the top in the first place, he was just out gunned.

Also you highlight the fact he's an adult male for some reason, though losing weight is harder for an adult than it is for a child or adolescent.

How many pounds must you lose to feel drained then? If a fighter feels drained after losing 5 pound, but doesn't feel drained after losing four pound, then one pound does make a difference no?

I do agree tho, cotto being drained at 145 was not an excuse for him losing the PAC fight IMO

    :good

If Floyd Mayweather had been allowed to weigh in one pound heavier for the 1st Castillo fight, he would have won it. And if Danny Williams had been forced to lose another pound the day before he fought Vitali Klitschko, he'd have Tyson-ed that Ukrainian.
