You know, I was debating whether to put that last sentence in there or not. I thought my sarcasm was clear already, but then I thought that ESB General isn't exactly a hub of intellectualism, and decided to add one last point that would make the irony obvious even to a ******. I failed.

when theres nothing left to lose it does effect them , for me carrying a little bit of weight no problem but if im dehydrated and staving hungry and ripped to the core it does take alot out of you

whether cotto was massivly effected or not is another question but for a boxer struggling to make weight 1 pound is huge

you don't know what its like loosing weight. the body is constantly changing. from fight to fight, from year to year, even month to month. come on, talk what you know.

I will repeat this again for the benefit of those who are struggling through life without the required medical assistance:

May I remind you to select the '...severely handicapped' option in the accompanying poll. Many thanks. :good

Well given that it's harder and harder to lsoe weight the more you lose (in terms of cutting for a weigh in) then every pound more is significantly harder to lsoe than the last one.

Esepcially given how notoriously hard many fighters find it to stay in a weight class. Ironically choosing Cotto as an example if a brilliant point for my arguement - the dude fights at 154 now and looks completely natural at it. Go figure.

And your little internet-toughguy routine just looks pathetic, you're not making your points any more convincing by spewing out insults. You look like a cretin.

Have you ever actually tried cutting weight for a fight or are you just puffing your chest out in a pseudo-macho manner?

i see ur point but he looked good against Oscar at a 147 fight.....so i dont see why they felt the need to change Cotto's...whats your take on that?

Yes, but I'm right and you're wrong, so although I may be being a little high-handed, at least I don't look like a dumb dick continually proving and re-proving my idiocy.

A guy who weighs in at 146, a pound under the ww limit, then weighs in at 145 for his next fight was not remotely affected by that ONE POUND. To suggest he is makes you look like the product of incest. :smoke

can you not see that if you have nothing left to lose then losing 1 pound is huge

no im not saying it effected cotto but to say that an athlete already dehydrated and starving , ripped nothing not much % body fat left not much water retention

1 pound is big but like i say i dont think it effected cotto much so you can take the pac glasses off and look at this fairly:good

Again, you have no evidence whatsoever for this, and again, you seem to think that launching an AWFUL tired of pathetic and nonsensical **** seems to constitute an arguement.

you must be 15 or something. That or a terrible troll.
