Losing ONE POUND can never in a million years weaken an adult male.

So looking weight drained against Pacquiao is because he's Manny Pacquiao. Ok now i get the logic.

Thomas Hearns was much better at light-heavyweight than he was at welterweight. He beat Virgil Hill at light-heavy, whereas at welter he lost to some bum called Sugar Ray Leonard.

Foreman is a boxer, Cotto had to pick his shots against him. Cotto had Pacquiao and Clottey right in front of him which in turn burned him out. down the stretch.

Again, you're ignoring the fact that it's harder for Cotto to make even the WW limit every fight. How many times have we seen a fighter say they were drained after fighting in a division they had been fighting in for years? And again, at what point does it make a difference? Mayweather was harshly criticised for not cutting an extra 2lbs. against Marquez. According to you, anyone who complained about it is an idiot as the 2 lbs. wouldn't have affected Mayweather anyway; unless you're going to tell me that 1 lb. is meaningless and 2 lbs. makes all the difference in the world. When you're cutting weight like that, every lb. makes a difference.

Look, I am not saying he would have beaten Pacquiao anyway, but certainly he is a better fighter than what he showed in that fight. How do you explain that?

I don't believe it is harder for Cotto to make the ww limit every fight. If it was, he'd have struggled to make 147 for Clottey, but he didn't, he came in at 146 straight off the bat. To then come in ONE POUND lighter is nothing.

People seem to think Cotto went to lmw because he was too big for ww, but that's not the case. It's because Arum offered him a big in-house fight against a paper champion at lmw, and Cotto knew it was the smartest prestige-rebuilding job available. Manny Steward said on ESB's own 'On The Ropes' he wants Cotto back at ww for his next fight because he believes Cotto is better there.

No, looking worse against Pacquiao than against Foreman might be to do with the fact that one is a high-ranking ATG at his peak and the other is (was) a technically inept paper-titleist.

Also, it has already been pointed out to you that Cotto's performance in terms of punch output was actually noticeably worse in the Foreman fight than in the Clottey and Pacquiao fights, contrary to your claim that

when it already takes all you got to make 146, then that 1 pound can really be an obsticle. your an idiot. its not like he weighs in at his walking around weight.

The level of the opposition, obviously.

Why do you think Yuri Foreman looked good against Daniel Santos, but **** against Miguel Cotto? Because Miguel Cotto is a much, much better fighter than Daniel Santos (or for that matter Yuri Foreman).

Ah, so that's why they beat poor old Miguel, the cheating ****s? If only these low-down scum-bags would stick to the rules of boxing and lighten up on a tiring opponent in the later rounds...
