I think it was the best decision he made. A record 20 defenses (18) by KO, beat Canelo twice, in the court of popular opinion. Anything from here on out is frosting on the cake. I would like to see him beat Andrade, but not Charlo anymore. If Golovkin don't KO Mall Charlo he can't win a decision, as the Charlo's are on the Hayman protection plan.

In your dreams. GGG lost. He lost and it's about time you accept it. Not only did he lose but he was beat at his own game which made it that much more satisfying.

Your a big "story of the fight"guy, the media at ringside had it 40 for GGG, 15 a draw, and 2 for Canelo, and that is fight number 2. No need to even mention fight number one. Remember, robberies don't constitute victories. I know you struggle greatly with that concept as seen with your odd support of the most current robbery Castano vs Charlo.

He is 39, had unsatisfying career until 2017, beat so called p4p number 1 in a first fight, but got controversial draw. Old GGG threw 200 more punches in a first fight, because non american/non mexican boxers dont have that luxury getting rounds just for coasting. What do you want from GGG?

Canelo ran, GGG didn't , he stood in the pocket, fought like a warrior.Finished strong down the stretch, his back never touched the wropes.

My "Support" for "Robberies"? You deeming fights robberies is your thing. kiwi tried the same tact, somehow I'm being controversial for not thinking a result is controversial. That's not how it works. You're being controversial by claiming that a fight is a robbery.

Back to the back never touching the ropes angle again. All that shows is how terrified GGG was of getting caught on the ropes. He knew he could never go near the ropes against a ropes master like Canelo.

He was beaten to the body by a mile and was beaten in power punches by a significant margin. In a prize fight you need to do more than just jabs. You need to have a well balanced multi-faceted game. GGG had a very basic cautious safety first approach to the rematch. There is no way a timid and super cautious GGG was going to win a decision fighting like that. GGG drew the line in the sand that the rematch was about who was willing to go to war and fight better at Mexican Style. Canelo won that battle. GGG made it about "the story of the fight". He created that narrative and angle to the rematch so he has no one to blame but himself for what happened. He got beat up and humiliated by Saul Canelo Alvarez.

    Nobody should take you seriously.

In your opinion Clen came the closest to beating Mayweather since ODLH.:qmeparto:

Are you going to bring up the asinine cards?
Cotto was at least competitive, Canelo looked like a kid who had no business fighting Mayweather.
