I just wonder if this releives any pressure from Fedor. He even said himself on the "Baddest man on The Planet" documentury that "the fact I have'nt been beat is only a matter of time". Fedor never held himself in the indestructable light that millions have. Do you think now that he has been beat that he can sigh a relief that he no longer has to strive to live up to the expectations of fans, media, and haters? I personally see Fedor turning this into a positive thing. And I could'nt think of a more worthy or humble man to hand him his first legit loss. Werdum is a class act and I would still lay odds on Fedor in a rematch.
True it should wake him up and trained harder next time. I wanna see a rematch. I think fedor would take it.
Did Hughes retire after he lost to Penn? Did GSP retire after he lost to Serra? Did Lesnar retire after he lost to Mir? There's no reason this can't be a motivating factor for Fedor. Some are talking like this is the end of the road for him. Yeesh, pretty harsh after one loss. Fedor himself was very philosophical after the fight and vowed to assess what he did wrong and how he can come back. Coming back after a loss is also a quality of a great fighter.
Not saying he's shot, but he's 33 (but looks a lot more weathered than this), he obviously isn't training as hard as he could, he should have and could have lost to Rodgers prior to this loss. I'm not saying he's shot, but I would expect him to lose a couple more fights prior to walking away. There is something to be said for the loss of the invinsible mystic and auroa that surrounded Fedor.
there no way see i even said the day fedor looses everyone will be all over his **** saying hes done he suck ,watch i gueartee that fedor will finish win in the first round next time.hes to smart to get caught like that again.quote me.
Fedor threw the fight away. It was pretty obvious being reckless and having the i dont care attitude during and post fight. He probably wants out of M1.
