    Quarry-Chuvalo immediately comes to mind.
    Hearns-Leonard also.

too many people bringingup robberies which is not the point of the thread.
It's about fighters winning fights and then messing it up themselves and losing deservedly to fault of their own.

I think Oscar deciding to coast against Tito when you really cant trust judges (granted he should have been able to coast and easily given the nod) but he could have just kept going the way he was and make damn sure hed get the verdict.

Diaz trying to trade vs Marquez in their first fight when he got hurt got him knocked out as well even though he was very competitive up to that point.

Castillo getting too reckless in the first fight with Corrales when he was clearly winning got him knocked out too.

Oh and add Hopkins vs Taylor 1 as well for me .... Hopkins just deciding to start too late and once he pressed he made Taylor look like a amateur.
I still think Hopkins won that fight but if he had started 2 rounds earlier there would have been no doubt.

    - ODLH taking Gil Clancy's advice against Tito
    - Winky Wright deciding to coast in that last round against Jermain Taylor

Jones' DQ loss hitting Griffin while he's down. Strange or not his HW title fight was his 49th fight and he would've tied Marciano's record + he won his next bout would've made him 50-0, but he screwed it up :D

DLH in the Trinidad fight even though he won the first 8 to 9 rds. Hind sight is 20/20 but when the decision was announced I had a house full of shocked/mad Mexicans. The point is you never know how the only 3 people that matter are scoring the fight. I've always thought if Oscar had pressed a bit more in those middle rds. he could've stopped him.

Kessler was never hurt in the fight, he was stunned a couple of time but never really hurt. Froch knew he had to be carefull if he pressed it more, cause Kessler is a brilliant counter puncher.

Kessler is a brilliant fighter full stop, and one that I admire. I didnt care who won the fight as I like both fighters but I did feel Kessler was hurt in round 5 and that if Froch had really pressed he would have got Kessler in trouble which who knows....

I still personally score DLH-Trinidad a draw. So while we probably disagree there I'm with you that Tito didn't beat him.
