I dont even know what you're talking about now. You asked how you do something like record your fat, as if its not possible, in which it is possible.

Lol everyones body is different and handles cutting different. Alot of it is probably water. I lost 10 pounds in the last 3 days n i was already skinny. However if ur eatin 1700 a day which is more than i was doing and training hard. u are burning muscle too. not just fat n water

This is the type of behaviour that needs to be changed in boxing.

Do you think young track and feild athlete's are doing this world wide..? Young Tennis Players..? Basketball Players..? Swimmers..?

    No......not really.

There is a ingrained and installed massive problem that boxers have, with basic things in life.

Like food, and looking after themselves.

    "Training sensibly"

95% of boxers are clueless when it comes to diet and human physiology, this thread is good evidence of that.

But some of them get the results they want despite this.. does that mean they still should have changed something?

    food for thought!

but yes boxing is very backwards.

... but a lot of nutritionists and personal trainers have no clue of what they need anyway, just paper experts, doing bodypart routines and bodybuilder diets.

    So true.

My cousin was just telling me the other day about someone she knows finally got to go to some nutritionist guy who he had to make an appointment to see a year in advance because this guys "one of the best." As she proceeds to tell me some of the info given to her friend about how to lose weight, I couldn't stop rolling my eyes. When I heard that he gave info such as avoid all fruit, don't eat any vegetables unless they're green, and gave a list of 'foods to avoid' starting with olive oil on the top of the list (which was mostly all fats), I wanted to make an appointment just to ask this guy in a year how you can be a nutritionist for a living and be so misinformed. As I proceeded to tell my cousin and the rest of the family how 'if you wanna lose weight it's all about calorie expenditure, and mainly the reason people will say avoid fats is because of the 9 cal/g making it easier to rack up then calories, but this doesn't really matter if you have self control,' it didn't matter what I said vs. the nutritionist since he's the "pro." :-(

Gotta email him the fathead documentary or the link about the twinkie diet guy.

Eating no food at all would make you lose weight. It works, but is it a good idea?

No such thing as a "xxxx" diet. Just eat healthy foods at a certain quantity.

Majority are complete ******s, even some professionals are complete and utter ******s. From amateur to pro's there is a installed problem, with the basic things in life/sport.

Like they just don't understand or grip simple things, i don't think it has nothing to do with.

I just think its a boxing culture, for the majority to be complete ******s and stupid...."And backwards, and stuck in the past"

    From Nutrition, to training......

I'm not really bothered, i won't post in this thread again.
