Just watched the post-fight interview. Nothing but excuses. All that sh*t he was talking about God was going to do this, God was going to do that...no mention of God whatsoever. No true credit to Money May, yet when Floyd stepped to the mic he was nothing but gracious and gave props where props were due. Even to Team Pac, Freddie Roach, Bob Arum, etc...even though IMO he could've said, "Eff all of you!" and been justified. Take your ass-whupping like a man. Excuses make you look like less than one.
He did thank God in the presser? And he did give Floyd his credit. "Give him his credit.." were specific words I believe lol And it's not an excuse that his shoulder was seriously injured if he's getting f'ing surgery. It's a medical fact now.
says he had a problem then kuntz lied about it on the questionnaire. :-( wtf are they hiding? then again kuntz is such a shady character, there you go
Breh...he made excuses. And still is... I believe that this fight is going to bother him for the rest of his life. Where was the humble Manny everyone always talks about? All that sh*t he was screaming before the fight and couldn't admit that he was outboxed.
I wasn't too thrilled with his post fight comments. It's okay for him to be disappointed but he shouldn't have said 'Floyd did nothing'. He could've said 'He ran and was difficult to attack' It's okay to say you were injured but he could've perhaps being more subtle about it. It also made him sound like a sore loser when he said he felt he won. I understand that when you are in the ring with a runner and he's barely hitting you with anything that stings, you may feel like you are stealing rounds BUT, i did see an expression of defeat towards the end. He knew he had lost but said he felt he won. I've seen Pac MANY times and his behavior after 12 round was over was not the typical jovial Pac that thought he had won I think Pac has immense pressure to perform for his Country and fans who paid a lot so was in disarray after the loss, he couldn't quite keep his focus and character strong. HE could've handled it better. subtle things could've made a difference. Instead of saying he felt he won, he could've said that he felt Floyd didn't hurt him but that he wasn't happy with his own performance. He could've then mentioned the injury but i feel team pac sort of rubbed in in everyone's face, as if 'this was the only reason we lost'. he could've given more credit to Floyd too. I personally HATE how Floyd sneaks rounds fighting like a girl but Floyd did move well. subtleties, here and there... add up to a Pac i wasn't too impressed with.
ehh. Manny's human, a competitor, who was on top of the world and thrown to the bottom. he was mad, embarrassed. He disappointed the world. I would've been a sore loser too lol he waited 6 years, had everyone believing in him, and let them all down. Waited for this moment and it was a huge failure. I'm surprised he didn't start crying haha
Says he thought he won the fight, then says floyd ran all night, then the shoulder excuse. No matter how you spin it Pacquiao is a sore loser. Post fight interview there is no way Pacquiao believed he won that fight. Should have said 'I lost the fight, I wasn't 100%' at the very least. If his shoulder is hurt it's hurt, we understand boxing is a physical sport and injuries happen. Just saying take the lost like a man, every aspect of this lost from Pacquiao's side stinks and is leaving a bad taste in people's mouths.
there is always an excuse.. i know its as rough but i was somewhat disappointed. What's funny and i can't believe i'm saying this, is that i feel Floyd would've been more a man in same circumstances. I could be wrong but i think he would've been more respectful towards Pac. He certainly would've mentioned the injury but acted differently... say stuff like 'this is boxing, this happens..etc..'
Pac is a low-life scammer and excuse maker. His true character comes out. And not a WORD of praise for Floyd.
