I'm irritated that Pirog isn't in the scene anymore.

I was actually wondering about that, so I looked it up earlier today. Turned out in 2012 Pirog was suppose to fight Golovkin, but slipped a disk in his back while training. He tried to make a come back several times, but keeps getting injured.

Other tidbits: Pirog got stripped of his WBO title for not defending against Hassan N'Dam, his mandatory when he choose to fight Golovkin. Sucks since it would have been a unification bout. N'dam lost it to Peter Quillen, who just gave up the title.

This is good and bad though, the fight wouldn't have been as popular as it would be now. However Pirog is gonna have to rid himself of ring rust and get his name recognition back up.

As far as the video, it's great stuff! It is sad how downhill many of the fighters have gotten though. So many lost skills, even since the 90's. I think it's mainly promoters being greedy and no longer showing skilled fighters, opting for who ever can bring in drama/fans (i.e. **** talkers).
