True. Facing a southpaw as a southpaw is just as awkward (if not more) than facing a southpaw as a righty. Everything is backwards. Cool thing about it is it tends to produce slugfests...martinez v wiliams for example. The fight right before mine last march was two subnovice southpaws, and it was a freaking war. Both of them could box, but they couldn't box each other. So it turned into a fight, and everybody loved it. (Also, it made my fight look even gayer by comparison, so I stand by my original theory: **** southpaws.)
3 of us weighed in 91+kg for the comp this weekend, guy in original video got a by, I won the semi and met him in the final: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLAhAIdxuLM[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lo6B5QHtRI[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RL34enK7mlk[/ame] Went in with a completely different frame of mind than the first fight. From looking at this fight what should I be working on/ what should I have done differently? Thanks for all the feedback
Congrats on the win...threw some punches this time way to go! You do need more sparring though. You're visibly afraid to get hit and it makes you...easy to hit lol. Still no body punches. You disappoint me.
