It's either Muhammad Ali or Mike Tyson.

Bingo, he actually did score a knockdown at one point as well! What a story it would have been!

Rademacher was parked by Floyd Patty.... I'd like to see the whole film of that fight, but never have...

There actually are several answers to this question. Here's the fighters that fought for a World Title in their 1st Pro bout.

"Bukkake" asked several questions some time ago on this and we came up with the following.

Pete Rademacher - (challenged Floyd Patterson for the heavyweight title in 1957)
Rafael Lovera - (challenged Luis Estaba for the WBC light flyweight title in 1975)
Joves De La Puz - (challenged Satoshi Shingati for the IBF bantamweight title in 1984)
Yani Dokolamo - (challenged Dodie Boy Penalosa for the IBF light flyweight title in 1985)
Masaharu Kawakami - (challenged Kyung-Yun Lee for the IBF minimumweight in 1987)
Domingus Siwalette - (challenged Ratanapol Sor Vorapin for the IBF minimumweight in 1993)
Arturo Mayan - (challenged Alex Sanchez for the WBO minimumweight title in 1994)

Was Jack Skelly having his first professional fight when he challenged George Dixon for the Featherweight title at the Olympic Club in New Orleans in 1892?

No, in fact besides Rademacher, only Yani Dokolamo ever won a single bout in their career, and Domingus Siwalette finished his career with record of 0-10.

Cheers! How did they justify getting a title shot?

Sleazy, pathetic boxing politics, that's how.
