In the presser after fight it goes slightly heated when Fury makes a light hearted comment about the ending one of those Philly hangers on that often seem to be around Richardson and Cunningham was giving it big man while hiding behind Richardson to Fury. Then i heard a British accent say ''where's you're manners?'' then heard someone from the U.S make a comment and Clifton Mitchell say ''Shut up''.

Then Cunningham makes a comment about ''look at these guys are a long way from home. Might not make it to airport''. Same guy crying like a ***** about Fury fighting like it was a alleyway brawl now wanting to come with that G talk.

Glad the American fella in crowd actually says ''look at you're team Steve''. For all the talk of being from the mean streets of Philadelphia they didn't like the rough stuff. But it's ok for Bernard Hopkins to be a dirty fighter Naazim?. But will give him his props he didn't let it kick off for the irresponsible actions of Cunningham's words.

Clifton Mitchell is no mans fool and stood his ground. Respect to him and rest of people not allowing the threats get to them.

Fury often has a bad lot follow him, But those type of threats can get way out of hand. Poor form from Cunningham there and his constant referring to Fury's size is so boring. You signed to fight him, this is heavyweight boxing man what the hell you think these big guys would do?. You've sparred Wladimir who's dirty himself..

Like it all there own way the Yanks at times.

It's really curious the thing about the size. What's Fury meant to do, not use his physical advantages? If Cunningham didn't want Fury to lean on him, he shouldn't have kept staying on the inside.

Yeah, the forearms were crude, but it happens.

This is boxing, most fighters say stupid ****, especially when they've just been beaten. Steve's a good guy, I think he will regret saying that.

Totally agree. It's annoyed me with Steve. Haye's fought men even bigger then Fury and shown it can be done he was the guy who decided to trade with Fury at times. Fury did what Valuev couldn't do and made it a rough tough fight and actually beat Cunningham at short range where as Cunningham beat him at long.

Fury fought a HW's fight, Constant remarks about his size and weight is stupid when you've moved up of own will to HW. Needs to go down to CW or retire or spend rest of days picking fights at HW with tape measure and weight scales..

Steve is just pissed off with a lot of Fury's remarks before the fight. Fury mentioned his wife in one of the pressers which really annoyed him. I can see both sides points. Fury is telling everyone he's the best HW on the planet and then decides to face a light punching Cruiserweight. But also Cunningham accepted the fight so can't keep on about the weight.

It seemed a bit of a storm in a tea cup and I couldn't make it clearly what was being said on either side but it's the fault of the boxer to bring all these stupid entourages with them in the first place. They all want to get their face on the camera and have a story to tell so they're happy if a fracas kicks off.

Only issue i have with Steve's remarks Bam is the fact i presume that woman is Fury's wife who made the manners comment and those threats can lead to brawls and much more. That was typical street intimidation and think even Naazim felt embarrassed by it. Very stupid thing to say and something he should get pulled up for IMO.

Can you just clear up what was said please Skills?

I heard Fury's missus say "show some respect!" in retaliation but not what was said before that...

    Then Cunningham mentions the airport...

It would make for a good brawl though if they both brought their full entourages with em. Get the dad out of jail, sort a waiver for Peter and you've got a hell of a scrap on your hands :yep

Sorry mate read it back it makes sense now, pretty classless but that Americans don't have a lot of that and certainly don't take defeat graciously!

He's whining like a little ****ing girl, glad the US media don't appear to be taking his side.

I said the exact same yesterday, Richardson's whole stable of fighters are notorious for their rough and sly tactics. Where's the condemnation when Hopkins sticks the thumb of his glove in his opponent's eyes like he did to Pascal in both of those fights? Or when he tried to con the ref to get Calzaghe disqualified by pretending Joe low-blowed him? Just the **** up Team Cunningham, you lost. You had the chance to finish the fight and blew it.

For a Philly tough guy from the ghetto he doesn't half come across as a whinge. "Oh but, the fight wasn't fair! He hit me where he wasn't supposed too!" :|

If Fury hit him in the bollox then he'd have a case. Not just because Fury twatted him around the head like all men do in fights. Get over it.

sick of hearing about the "mean streets" seems like a consitent go to for America fighters. anybody would think they all lived in Beirut or something. its just a bull **** imagie and it might have worked in the 90s but people are sick of it now.
