Lots of talk about what Quigg did or didn't do, but did Frampton impress you?

Was a bit underwhelmed by both in all honesty.

Don't think chasing LSC is a good idea for Carl. The sheer volume of LSC's work rate beats him with ease.

I'm still not sure about Santa Cruz. Didn't see his fight on Saturday but could get caught going in. Tough division featherweight. Didn't see anything I don't expect from frampton. I thought quigg lost the fight rather than frampton winning it

    Frampton will beat LSC.

The fight on Saturday night wasn't great, but Frampton boxed to a game plan and came out as the man with his hand raised.

It's not really his problem that Quigg hardly engaged... and then when he did look to engage Frampton had already built up a comfortable lead so there was no need for him to take risks.

I'd agree I thought both were poor in a shocking fight.
I can only think Scott's bottle went, it looked like he froze.
The punch stats showed that neither performed.

Whilst Frampton won I believe we saw the best Frampton were as Quigg underperformed and if he had started the pressure earlier would he have won? Or would Frampton be able to do something extra?

As for impressing neither fighter proved he could hang with Rigo let alone Lomo or the rest of the top dogs at 126 as has been talked about.

I think this fight , really has done Quigg a favor ,,
Firstly ----Its shown Callagher , how to win and what tactics to use , and thats apply pressure , pressure , and more pressure right from the start , try to out muscle and out punch Frampton , because he clearly has'nt got the skills to outbox him .

Secondly ------ Its shown where Frampton really is and that is not the best in the world , so Frampton can go to the states , pretend he's the A team , take what he's given not what he demands , and LOSE HIS BELT .

Thirdly ----- Frampton can seek a money making rematch i Belfast , which he should win , and Quigg can say , kiss my Manchester **** , i want the what i want ,, because what do you have , without me ,, Nothing except a loss waiting in America .

Wheras , Quigg , well he can go in other directions , because he has Eddie behind him ,, and after the arrogance , and stupidity that came out of the mcguigan familly i doubt he will be in a rush to deal with them again unless he calls the sgots ..

Frampton needs the big fights and money fights after all , he now has the Mcguigans to look after has well has his own familly

Don't think Frampton performed. Quigg was static and Frampton has looked good against fighters with more movement. Think occasion got to both.

Frampton showed more in the 12th

Losing the fight has done him no favours what so ever. Simply applying more pressure does automatically mean he would win the fight in the slightest he got caught alot when he came in and he was hurt by Carl a number of times.

Also your criticizing Framptons peformance because he done the basics to win, why take more risks if you are winning a massive unification fight with ease by throwing three basic shots?
