Can anyone fill me in on this guy? How was he able to hang in there with so many top guys in his career when he literally beat nobody? From what I read, he almost beat Virgil Hill and should've gotten at least one decision against Bruno Girard. Obviously, Roy Jones dominated him but he also was the first guy to knock him down officially. I looked at his record and he literally beat a bunch of nobodies his entire career but almost beat multiple top guys?

That's exactly right! He lost pretty much every big fight of his career but usually gave a good account of himself despite that. It's made him pretty bitter and delusional though, in almost every recent video I've seen of him the guy comes across as such as a stuck up a-hole!

Awkward lefty with pretty good boxing skills. He also had a great chin, from what I can remember. There wasn't anything that really stood out as amazing about him, when he boxed. However, he was obviously doing something right. I feel that he was able to take some serious shots, had a decent sense for punches coming at him, and was pretty decent at picking his spots to fire back.

I just find it amazing he literally beat a ton of guys with awful records, then nearly beats Hill and Girard. Just super impressive.
