    :nono nope cotto-margarito fights @ 154. Fighting either one would make martinez very rich. Also another possibility is a rematch with kelly pavlik.

    Exactly.. This is a horrible fight..

    I can understand taking an easy fight after a tough fight, but Martinez defeated Dzinziruk easily.. He should be trying to secure a fight with Sturm right now or even Cotto.. I don't think he'll be moving up to 168 anytime soon..

    :good even though martinez deserves an easy fight, he ain't getting any younger. I rather see him against a champion @ 160. Martinez vs Sturm would be nice.

    Actually this is the kind of fight HBO would love. Manfredo has good name recognition having been a popular member of the contender series, and he has a great hometown following. Manfredo also has a minor 160 belt which they can pass off as legit belt to draw in unsuspecting casuals. One thing that should be made clear, they are not making this purely as a "stay busy" fight. That's a joke and a cop out. He will only have one more date in 2011 after this in November.

    As does Pac - busted eardrum vs Cotto, face busted up by Clottey, and Margo reportedly had him pissing blood and lying in a hospital bed in the fetal position for 36 hours. :good
