Come on man, you know you can't back that up. Cotto will be comfortable at the weight plus they are using eight ounce gloves. I wonder if PBF will let Sergio use eight ounce gloves. He should stay at 160 and unify. Just forget about the WBC because that belt will be hostage until Chavez loses.

This is gonna be like Pacquiao.. saying they take less in the media but in reality when it comes to it, they'll back out.

I think this is an exception. Sergio knows he will make more fighting at whatever they give him plus he knows if he wins......

Sure he'll take it. But in order to weaken him, he will force Martinez down to 150 instead of 154 just to drain him. If he has any dignity left, he will fight him at 154. Take his medicine like a man.

150? If Mayweather is fighting Cotto at 154lbs and bragging about how he is not "weight drainning" him I don't see how he can't fight Martinez at 154lbs too. After all Mayweather doesn't like catchweights :D

Floyd can say whatever he wants and his fans will get all hyped about it an believe. Remember the "Pac you are next" and then "don't be putting words in my mouth" comments? I don't, as anyone else would, expect Mayweather to fight at 160lbs as Floyd is too small for that weight. There is a reason why Floyd is fighting at 154lbs its just that his fans don't see it. Floyd is fighting at 154lbs so when a Floyd vs Pac comes up again, Floyd will say he will ONLY fight Pac at 154lbs. So if Floyd is already at 154lbs why make a Martinez fight at 150lbs? I still doubt Floyd would fight Martinez at any weight as he is more likely to fight Canelo next after Cotto. Easier fight for Mayweather.

    Ahem... Pacquiao ?
Oh wait, he had a paper title.

Mayweather wont give him that. Martinez biggest payday was a bit over 1 mil. Floyd would give him 5 to 6 mil.

Lets talk Martinez v Mayweather after Cotto. Cotto is not without a chance, and Mayweather has been inactive for a long time now. This Cotto is probably the best Cotto, because he has a good corner with him now, and is a generally better boxer today, than before and lets not forget weight.

I don't understand why people are so interested in this fight. Somebody tell Martinez to fight Andre Ward. Leave these welterweights alone.

Mayweather wants to fight Sergio because he is impressed with his defensive style....Mayweather knows the guys he fights are good enough to pull off the upset, so he wants to pick and choose who he loses too..remember he said he rather lose to winky than lose to Margarito...Floyd wants to lose to Broner, Gamboa, Martinez or Ortiz...Floyd first met Ortiz, Ortiz said some kind words and Floyd never forgot it...As far as Floyd saying Pac was next, he contradicted himself so he could call out Pac before the Marquez fight...and as far as Floyd saying he would fight at 160...He said IF POSSIBLE, But to ME, I got that he's so balzy, that its no doubt in my mind he would fight Martinez ...No doubt in my mind...he has a personal infatuation with his slick style,,...Floyd HATES Pac and Khan and he would NEVER want to lose to them!

I never said he can beat him easily...Floyd just acts like Sergio isnt even a threat...Floyd admitted that Paul Williams is too tall...EVERYONE thinks Sergio is too big...Floyd can just go along with the media and say, he's too big...but he is GENUINELY not even threatened by Martinez...in fact, he is infatuated with Martinez's defensive style...To us, its a big dangerous fight...to Floyd, its easier fight than the pac fight..Floyd is truely a mystery
