You think it was Oscar who had other plans?

I know Schafer resigned in 2014. The Kirkland fight was in 2015, Canelo also captured the Ring and WBC MW titles in 2015.

2013 Austin Trout- WBA & WBC SWW championship
2013 Floyd Mayweather- WBA & WBC SWW championship
    2014 Ersilandy Lara- JrMW supremacy
2015 Miguel Cotto- WBC & Ring MW championship

All better opponents than Jermell at that time.

Here is Jermell's resume at that same time:

2013 Demetrius Hopkins- USBA SWW title
    2014 Gabriel Rosado
    2014 Charles Bellamy
    2015 Vanes Martirosyan

    Canelo - #1 priority (agreed)
Murata is a huge draw in Japan, this is easily the 2nd biggest money option after Canelo
Saunders/Andrade winner has a belt and a big win.
Jacobs is not a big draw, but he probably still offers more money than Charlo. Hardcores rate Charlo highly but Jacobs is more well known to casuals.

That makes Charlo 5th, even without considering that there's a fighter or two at 168 who might be more lucrative. Groves if he wins the WBSS would be a big fight and actually winnable because current Groves is not actually that good. De Gale is shot and would be a bit of a cherry-pick, but still more money than Charlo. I like Charlo and rate him, but no way he's more popular than Canelo, Murata, Saunders, or Groves.

Plain fact is that GGG is just after the money now, that may make him avoid Charlo in the future, but it hasn't happened yet.

But the same logic hurts big Charlo's claim to a MW shot against Golovkin, Centeno Jr + injured Heiland is not a great resume for a shot at Golovkin (even though I'm about the only guy here who rates the Centeno Jr win).

Nope. Jermell was not Canelo's mando nor had he ever been a world champion.

Jermall is Golovkin's mando and is the WBC interim champion, and if the former WBC JrMW champion.

We’re not talking about those other guys we're talking about Kirkland who was not a better option.. And I’m saying Schaefer was promising him the Canelo fight in Houston of course Schaefer was ousted and Oscar began to guide Canelo career wand went with Kirkland.. Im not critisizing Canelo at 154 because Oscar didn’t want him to fight Trout and Lara but Canelo wanted those challenges..

If he beats Canelo the only fight he should be looking at is Charlo as he is the only mandatory he has left.
A mandatory defense usually comes after a big unification fight.

Is he going to dump another belt so he can fight Murata?

Plan fact is a champion still has obligations to fulfill and Golovkin is not bigger than the belts.
If he thinks he's above the belts then he should drop them all because moving the only mando he has 5 places down the pecking order is just not going to happen.

If he beats Canelo he becomes a way bigger draw than he already is so he could definitely fight Charlo on PPV and draw in good numbers / buys.
If he doesn't want to fight Charlo he can make the belt vacant and Charlo will fight somebody else for it. Its as simple as that!

Like I said, it's quite possible that GGG may avoid Charlo in the future - it just hasn't happened yet. The mandatory is meaningless unless enforced and won't be enforced until 2019 so let's see what happens then. In my view Canelo probably beats GGG next month so it would be Canelo - Charlo anyway.

    You're a very foolish person.

Canelo dragged up Khan 8 lbs (Canelo is feather fisted according to you and most GGGoons)
GGG dragged up Brook 13 lbs (GGG permanently damaged Brook with that little stunt)

Canelo moved down to Liam Smith's best weightclass and fought him for his WBO JrMW title at 154. Not sure why you're saying he dragged Liam Smith up. I'll give you a pass on this statement.

As far as JCCjr, in November 2016 Jr. challenged Canelo to a fight at 164. Canelo actually agreed to 164.5. Canelo pretty much moved up 10.5 pounds from his last fight while JCCjr moved down 3.5 pounds.

You can't win bro. You don't like dealing with logic and facts.

What does honesty have to do with Lance's ridiculous comment complaining that some of us fans want fighters to continuously fight the best?? :lol:lmao You two are cut out of the same cloth.
