Also let's not act like Dervo was out there for years waiting for a chance now, he's still relatively new on the scene. It's only now that he's got to the point where he's viewed as a serious contender to the titles and everything but before he was more of a prospect. Is it surprising he doesn't get a shot at GGG straight away? Not really. He got a shot at Jacobs which is still pretty good and that will make the GGG fight even better for both guys now.
You're looking at this situation with GGGoggles, or you've spent too muc time in GGGoon land. Boxing has rules, champions have obligations, and if you don't fulfill those obligations you'll pay the consequences, and how can you criticize other opponents for not fulfilling their obligations.
It really isn't. Dervo was ready to go on 4 weeks notice and Golovkin always had the option to push the date back by however many weeks he wanted. At the end of the day he made the fully conscious decision that he'd rather drop his belt than take the fight.
It normally is, as far as top opponents go, just because Dervo would have agreed to do it doesn't mean it's not. I already conceded that GGG didn't wanna fight Dervo so I'm not sure why you keep banging on about it to me.
When? I can not recall Froch ever being mentioned in the P4P list and IF I am wrong he certainly was never near the top. Any proof to show? I'll get back after watching my info wars podcast.
STFU troll.. do YOU even watch boxing? I am ware of the mandatory you nitwit, but if you think that means he should be ahead of any attempts to unify, then log off noob. I'd rather he face Jacobs/Sergiy or BJS/Andrade next. But idiots like you will just cry DUCKING...because being a crybaby i all you are. "Leave Oscar alone, those pics are so fake!!" - Isal the baby I guess when a message board raises you and is your daddy, that should be exprected.
I think you're either drunk or very stoned right now Lance. Nothing in the post above even makes a bit of sense. In order to unify you need to fulfill your mandatory obligations, otherwise you're not unifying. Are you even aware that GGG just gave up the IBF MW title because he did not fulfill his mandatory obligation? How can he "UNIFY" if he is being stripped of his titles. IF unifying was more important for GGG, then he would fight his mandatories. IF GGG happens to beat Canelo, I imagine he will be obligated to fight Jermall, and if they stay true to their word and refuse to fight him, he will lose that title as well, and then he will be obligated to fight Ryota Murata under the WBA, his last title. Look bro, he's not fighting Jacobs ever again, he's not fighting Derevyanchenko now that he has been stripped. He may fight BJ Saunders but I wouldn't bank on it as GGG does not seem to like opponents who use their feet well, and why the **** would you rather see GGG fight Andrade over Jermall? WTF is wrong with you?
The general message from GGG's team is simply that a number of boxers are ahead of Charlo and he'd have to wait. They're after the big $$$ fights, it's no secret, so Charlo is like 5th or 6th on that list. He may yet duck Charlo, but it hasn't happened yet. Meanwhile, Charlo is on record saying: a) that Canelo avoided him and his brother for years and will never fight him. b) that Golovkin is "one of the best who ever did it. The dude is amazing."
STFU troll... No kidding nothing makes sense....because you're a freakin idiot. Why not face Andrade IF he beats BJ Saunders? That would be a win over a current titlist, who has defeated top ten rankled MW's himself. Jermall is new to the MW division, and has a win over Centano Jr. That's it. Personally, I don't care one way or the other if he faces Jermall charlo, because there are bigger fish to fry at 160 already. If he faces Jermall, cool. If not, and faces another top MW, that's fine too. IS that too much for your feeble mind to grasp? Jermall is just the new' Boogyman' for you losers. We all know that twat.,..
Only person in the top 7 that’s PROVEN AT 160 is GGG.. the rest need to cover more ground against other top guys.. simple and plain I don’t care who your favorite guy is.. Charlo is my favorite but he’s unproven at 160 just like the rest of them..
He just wants his shot and respects what GGG has done in division and generally believed he’s the one that can dethrone him.. the reason I stay away from this topic is because a lot of people think it’s wrong that he wants the challenge but forget how Jacobs and BJS said they needed more time to be ready for GGG.. He just got in the division and is the mandatory for the biggest threat in the division.. His younger brother was the promised the fight with Canelo in Houston, Texas by Richard Schaefer.. Oscar had other plans and they went with Kirkland instead..
What number of boxers is that? Canelo- Currently the priority Saunders- Who really thinks that fight will materialize? Derevyanchenko- I am willing to bet anyone that GGG will not fight him if he beats Jacobs Jacobs- Just like SD, I don't think GGG will be to keen on giving him the rematch, especially if he handles SD. Andrade- Why would Andrade be first over Charlo Murata- I can see GGG giving this guy the priority, but is Murata even a draw in Japan? If he is what is his drawing power like? and finally Charlo-WBC mandatory. More popular than everyone on the above list save Canelo and probably BJS. Team GGG already no to him. If GGG doesn't fight him he will only be left with the WBA trinket that Murata is the mandatory for. So not sure what long list Jermall needs to wait behind.
