I beginning to understand why burt is so touchy about Dempsey. I mean, Seamus posts are funny as hell, but this is just out of context hatemongering. Doesn't even has anything to do with his record (which is a legitimate point of controversy).

such hatred spewed against Jack Dempsey, so out of proportion to reality
that I , a member of a generation no longer with us, feels an obligation
to bring such vicious hatred to light...WYL, the Nazi regime said "if you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth ". I have NEVER forgotten

THis board is like the wild west of boxing forums. Few rules. Very loosely regulated ... as a result it attracts a ton of trash, many of whom are punks that don't even realize how having a man like you grace this place ups its credibility ... on the positive note it is very active and also has a lot of very knowledgable members that make it a lot of fun ..

Net/net don't take it too serious ... remember the caliber and mentality of who you are dealing with ...
