Yeah, I thought as much. There have been some good fights on this card

 

If he doesn't get in to gear quick this fight is going to start slipping away from him already

 

Pretty much. There's something about a fighters body language that lets you know they are patiently waiting. Lawal just looks to me like he has no idea what to to do, I'm not sure if he has the skillset to try anything different.

 

6 rounds to Chamberlain. Lawal needs to land something big soon

 

Lawal wakes up in the 8th, but still not sure if he did enough to win his first round

 

It's KO or bust territory now. Can't believe he's left it so late to try and push the pace

 

Yeah, his timing, range control, lack of a jab, inability to set anything up has made it an easy night for Chamberlain.

 

Lawal was really poor tonight. Didn't win a single round.

 

And the new ...... at the home of Boxing, The York Hall - a great feeling having ticked this box.

 

Not sure why the odds were so close for this one. Lawal went life-and-death with David Jamieson who was a short notice opponent. Jamieson had a full camp afterwards and fought Cheavon Clarke, losing every round before getting stopped.

I know Cheavon Clarke doesn’t have a lot of experience in the professional ranks but I reckon that he beats Isaac Chameberlain. Good performance from Chamberlain especially after his last one when he was in a FOTY contender against Billam-Smith.

 

The outstanding question from tonight's boxing - who is giving Anna a length tonight?

 

From a disaster of a week somehow they have ended up putting on a good show, a couple of brilliant evenly matched tear ups with a decent atmosphere.

I think I would rather see smaller cards full of competitive fights rather than big cards filled with mismatches and filler content
