    Totally agree.

People look down on Friday night boxing (usually at the York Hall) but the night and place is full of historic cracking fights.

The alternative is Jack Catterall versus an old man in a larger arena but for the TV viewer, the York Hall is the place to be.

Very pleased for Chamberlain and what a great genuine HUMBLE guy.

Sadly I can visualise her loitering outside the changing rooms fighting Adam Smith off for first pick.

    The main event wasn’t competitive.
Ignoring Majid vs Farrell, Bellotti vs Fiaz, and McGrail vs Mendoza was also a good scrap.

Sheff Utd v Man Utd and Egg World Cup meant that nobody was watching.

The main event was a complete stinker mate.

Half decent card in the end better than the garbage on DAZN Hennesey junior is almost as bad as Campbell soup Hatton couldnt knock the skin off a rice pudding pitter patter fighter who wont go anywhere the co main event was the best fight of the night by a mile the main event was a borefest but still better than Catteral versus the ghost of Linares.

Agree; I was happy with the DAZN card as it seemed to move along quicker than usual, even the young lad’s 1st-round KO was entertaining and had a big section of the crowd behind him. Stinking main event though which was a borderline exhibition.

Hearn was right in the aftermath; Catterall needs a grudge match like Taylor to make himself interesting. Moore is so angry about the first fight he’d sell it as much as Jack!

    talk about low expectaions…

literally anything taking place at the York Hall is enough for some. like the dullest female olympian and Joe Laws v Fat Mick’s kid.

The main event was disappointing and didn´t live up to expectations. On the other hand, the co main feature between Greene vs Gilley was outstanding. What a fight !

Went to York Hall last night and enjoyed it. Forgot how close you are to the action there, I've been to too many fights at o2 recently. Had a chat with Dean Whyte and Spencer Fearon.

One thing I love at York Hall is that some fighters end up ringside or at the bar after their fights and interact with the fans, which is good to see. Spoke to Michael Hennessy Jr, whose face was quite battered after the fight. I do agree with some other fans, he's not going anywhere soon. He's quite ballsy though, I'll give him that.

Lawal didn't really trouble Chamberlain at all... Isaac boxed his head off for the most part. Those early rounds full of feints, jabs and double jabs completely off set Lawal and he never really got going.

Laws and Hennessry Jr was a good scrap. Given that Laws was expected to lose beforehand..... I bet we see them run it back. Hennessy just doesn't appear to carry any power. Very upright, got dragged into a fight but didn't have the pop to make Laws think twice about coming forward.
