    Larry Holmes... Louis Was shot to death when he fought Marciano.... Even After Holmes fought tyson he went on to fight for 14 more years. And pick up some ok victories especially in a minor upset against ray mercer.

    Holmes, he had so much more left and he gives Louis a hard enough fight prime for prime with his jab and movement.

    He was a lot more conservative when older and less likely to brawl.

    He'd certainly have the quicker hands and was still able to pull the trigger as he had that spite and anger at the way the Spinks fights went.

    He might even stop Louis.

    Larry Holmes.
    After the Tyson fight Holmes did beat Ray Mercer and went the distance with primes Holyfield and Oliver McCall (who had knocked out Lennox Lewis).
