Who wins? 15 rounds 16 foot ring, old school ref

This has obviously been done before but not whilst I've been around and I want to know others opinions of who wins!

Sir, you've opened Pandora's Box with this question.
It could go either way, but I see Louis winning by split decision. Comparable speed, but Louis is the more accurate and stronger puncher. Ali has the better chin, but overall I think Louis would win more rounds and hurt Ali more.

I like Ali in this one tbh, Conn was roughly as quick as Ali and boxed rings around him without a real punch, 60s Ali in my view would beat him to the punch (the speed isn't close imo) and Louis didn't have an ATG chin but ATG recoupatorive powers. Ali was quick enough to force a stoppage if he had him hurt, and the power to hurt him in the first place, he'd use his jab and body shots to diminish Louis' Athletism before stopping him sometime after the 8th imo

Even with a tiny 16ft ring I favour Ali.

It's an age old question ,Ali v Louis ,but for me a very simple answer .Ali wins if they meet twenty times. Muhammad too fast ,a great chin and so confident its unbelievable. In s fight similar to Louis v Conn ,Ali gets out in front and stays in front and unlike Conn, sees the final bell to win the fight .

Ali will take 70-80 % of votes...

I like Louis to stop him in 13-15

I regard both of them, along with another fighter I won't mention for fear of controversy and starting a 1000 reply thread, as the h2h goat

I give Louis and Ali a 50/50 shot against each other. I'll vote Louis just to balance out the votes

The Louis camp thanks you! I shall return the favor when “he who shall not be named” gets matched against Ali inevitably

The ring size is an interesting one, Ali might end up doing enough damage to Louis early and push him out of the fight completely, on the other hand, Louis has the advantage of having less of a distance to travel to get to Ali. On the other hand, in a larger ring Ali might tire himself out by using more movement. Always a tough fight to call regardless of the conditions.

Love this, it's ok. I don't have a problem with Dempsey or Marciano, in fact I understand brother. I just don't agree.

Ali had phenomenal conditioning for a HW.
