Louis was too small to beat Wlad, yet he beat bigger men...

We don't know that, because he hasn't fought anyone like them, furthermore he was in his prime when he got his ass handed to him by these 3rd rate journeymen.

No, he was not anywhere near his prime. Wlad's prime is right now.

Wlad + Steward's training is very hard for any fighter, any era to beat, imo.

Joe Louis, hit alot harder than Lamon Brewster, Corrie Sanders and Ross Purrity. Louis, could and would literally knock your head off. Louis Ko Wlad in 5.

You seems to be way too obsessed about Wlad bending..

Byrd who is a better defesive fighter than Joe Louis could not avoid Wlad's stiff jabs. And oh, Wlad did not have to bend at the waist.

Wlad knocked down 11 times by bums? And you think of yourself as somebody who knows boxing by making a point about this? Let me ask you this, would it have been better if Wlad got knocked down by a featherfisted Chris Byrd (who is by any standard no a bum) or a hard puncher like Corrie Sanders (which your ignorant ass call bum)? What exactly was your point? You sound like Joe Louis had granite chin. Again shows your ignorance.

That's the issue. Joe is a different class of fighter. If a pos like Peter managed to ring Wlad's bell its not an insane thing to believe Joe could mange to land a punch or five over 12 rounds. Joe punched harder than anyone either Klit has faced including the modern Louis. He was a human jack hammer.

Byrd is entirely overrated and had NO POWER.

Of course Wlad isn't concerned with Byrd's assault because there is nothing on it to trouble him, and he was a southpaw which I already covered, but you know so little about actual boxing tactics, it must have slipped your mind.

Wow, am I really talking to someone that knows this little about boxing.

Sultan anotehr southpaw, I guess he had 10 times the defense that Byrd did, because Wlad didn't land ****.

But you know what, you dumb mother ****er, one of the reasons Wlad didn't land **** is because Sultan at least had a reputation of having a modicum of power. And considering YES, I'll say it again, WLAD HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN 11 TIMES BY BUMS, he was scared to commit to any punches, which is the main reason why soft body, southpaw, scared to engage Sultan not only survived, but made Wlad look so bad and tenative that he's not allowed to fight on HBO and had to run back to Europe.

Louis has a MASSIVE reputation for power, so you think Wlad won't be tenative when he was so scared of what (17-0?) Sultan Ibriganov?

    :lol::patsch

Louis had better defense and was easily a better athlete and smarter fighter than Ibriganov, yet he wouldnt' be able to capitlize on a chin that's been cracked 11 times?

You really are something, Patsy. And that somethin is a dumb mother ****er that doesn't know **** about boxing.

    Chris Byrd...

I love that ****. If there wasn't a more made to order opponent in history for Wlad. A small southpaw with no power.

BUT oh ****, you put a little size on them, you got Tony Thompson, and Wlad still looks like pure ****.

:patsch i'm so sick of this BS, Wlad had over FORTY ****ing fights when Sanders kicked his ass and steward was with him when he lost to Brewster, and struggled with TOS and Fat Peter. Wlad's not bad but Louis is in another class.

Today's heavyweight division is a giant steaming pile of garbage. In the 80's when people ripped on the division they were wrong. In the nineties when they ripped on the division they were wrong. Today they are absolutely spot on. It's a ****ing train wreck. There are 4 decent fighters in the division, two of them are related, and the related ones will blow the other two into pieces when they fight. Wlad could be the 40th best heavyweight all time and still dominate today's heavyweights. Niether Klit has accomplished enough to take this serious.

:rofl Sanders is nothing more than a glorified Journeyman, that Wlad couldn't handle, and yes Louis is a much harder puncher than both men, Joe could get great leverage and snap behind any punch with either hand, one the best punchers ever IMO.

Joe Louis fought every match as a search and destroy mission. His mindset wasn't to avoid getting hurt. His mindset was to put a hurt on his foe.

It would be the Corrie Sanders fight all over again.
