Louis was too small to beat Wlad, yet he beat bigger men...

    From the Thompson fight?
How many chances of improvement does he get? If he gets knocked out again, was it because he wasn't the real Wlad?Get outta here with that bull****.

Primo was better than both Klit hoes.

Louis and Baer would have kicked Vlad and Vitali's ass even easier.

It's possible that Wlad could have done what Schmeling did against a 1936 version of Louis and dropped counter rights over the low guard of the Brown Bomber until the latter folded. But since these match-ups generally assume the best versions of both fighters, then it should be noted that Louis has done a pretty good job of correcting those defensive flaws by the time he became champion.

So, given Louis' ability to punch in combination, hand speed, power, and skill-set when he was the champion, I'd be inclined to say that he would find a way to break down the version of Wlad who still tends to feel a bit uncomfortable when pressed. At the very least, The Brown Bomber wouldn't be reluctant to engage, and certainly would be throwing more than one punch at a time in this type of match-up and those facts alone make him more dangerous than the vast majority of opponents that Wlad has faced during his reign.

Thinner doesn't make a significant difference in terms of force applied. Try again

I don't want to start another thread as we already have plenty of them about Wlad vs. ATG's but to the people saying they would favor Wlad here. Then you would have to favor Haye to KO Louis as well since Haye has one punch power and Wlad does not. Wlad gets his knock outs by jab, jab hold jab jab hold till you tire out and then he finally pushes you over so if Wlad is *supposedly* strong, skilled, and fast enough to KO Louis in 8 rds (which seems to be the consensus among the K2 fans here) then you guys should say Haye bombs him out in 2-4 round.......but these K2 fans would never say Haye takes out the greatest heavyweight of all-time Louis yet by thier logic they should.

Who here said Wlad can't punch hard? It's about styles, not who punches the hardest. All three of the fighters you mentioned have incredible punching ability.

I wasn't saying Wlad can't punch hard I'm saying that the K2 fans who I think the ones who are favoring Wlad here (can't see how anyone other than true fans of K2 brothers could favor Wlad here) are saying Wlad can take out the greatest heavyweight of all-time but by using thier logic then you would have to say the same thing about David Haye. But, there is no way a K2 fan would say Haye could take out Louis. That's the point I was trying to make.

    Chances of improvement? What?

It's about continually improving each fight...and Wlad has done so.

It's very plausible that Wlad would beat Joe Louis because his modern diet is scientifically improved. They didn't even have Gatorade back then!

Walcott is better than every fighter Wlad has faced. Every one of them. I would like to see Wlad land that much against Joe Louis. If size was everything Tye Fields could beat a top ten heavyweight. He cannot and the division is the worst it has ever been since at least the 20's

Yes, that's it, keep slapping yourself. You really don't know **** about boxing, do you son? Walcott was a sparring partner of Joe's for long time and was known to get the better of him. When they actually fought, Joe won a disputed decision and then in the rematch which you fail to mention Joe knocks out Walcott and then announced his retirement. So you can say his only credible loss was to Schleming who he avenged in the rematch. The losses to Charles and Marciano were towards the end of his career. Your underrating Louis and overrating Wlad. I wonder why Wlad never gave Sanders the rematch? **** even Floyd gave Castillo a rematch.:bart

I like me some strontium 90 in the morning. If I don't have any I just don't feel right all day.
