NEW ORLEANS -- According to a report by the Times-Picayune, a boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will not be held at the Superdome.Political pundit James Carville was heading up the effort to bring the fight to New Orleans, but that was derailed by a scheduling conflict, a report by the Times-Picayune said.Jim Hoskins, the senior vice president and general manager of Harrahs New Orleans, said that the fight could have had the same economic impact on the city that the NBA All-Star Weekend had in 2008 -- $100 million. The last time a major boxing match was fought in the Superdome was Nov. 25, 1980. Sugar Ray Leonard beat Roberto Duran for the welterweight title in the famous "No Mas" match. The Pacquiao-Mayweather fight is scheduled to take place March 13 or May 1 in either Dallas or Las Vegas. The official announcement will be made Jan. 11 in New York City.

Looks like the fights going to be in MGM Grand folks...
