this is what i have been saying all along, props to you jeff m for this thread cause it speaks the truth. Floyd was the last breed of the type of fighters that are special that like the fighters from the past and golden era of boxing. Floyd was a thing of beauty to watch, high level of skill and agility. With floyd gone, people are forced to watch all this mediocre fighters with back and forth loses. Margo for example:barf, all this other fighters like pac, marquez are good but we all know floyd is on another level. Watching floyd brings back memories of the past legends, we rarely see this type of fighters in a decade. Be thankful all you haters you get to see a brilliant master at work in this era where most athletes would rather follow another sport
he'd beat those fighters in the same night, floyd was a unique fighter, more defensive type oriented, he remind me of the likes when i go watch sweet pea. I'm not comparing them though, all i'm saying is i felt the same thing watching the level of skill and boxing ability both men had
I think people want to know if Floyd is great like he says he is . We all know he has the skill to be a great fighter, but he is not great at all. His resume is thin. He has to fight Pacman to prove he is great. If he beats Pacman then he can maybe challenge Mosley and those two fights would prove something. But fighting Marquez who is too small does not prove anything except that Floyd is cherrypicking.
