Are you claiming that Joe did most of the tying up? Damn right, Joe didn't perform as wel as he could have. But on the other hand that speaks a lot of Hopkins. Yeah, it was a very messy decision, but that's how you beat B-Hop. B-Hop did the better rough-housing and the most powerful clean shots came from B-Hop - but they were nowhere near frequent enough to win the rounds. After about the 3rd and 4th rounds Joe started to find his rythym and started to get rounds under his belt and build a lead. When B-Hop overplayed the low blow, he upset Joe's rythym. Joe rallied well in the 12th and won 8 rounds to 4 IMO.
Why do not people understand that Boxrec is an objective rating system based on the record of the fighter? It does not take head-to-head match-up into account for more then it is worth. It is a statistical tool, nothing more.
boxrec just didn't update, thats all. Im pretty sure of that. I mean, they have Oniel Bell at number 3 and Adamek at 10.
