Agree with most of that Ash - only differ on the idea of Mundine making 154.

He had the incentive of Medley's title to make 154, but chose not to make weight. I know there was a lot more politics to it than that. But what the hell was Mundine doing trying to 'pioneer' another division, and then not even get a chance at the title?

OK, he won the WBA Iner title from Medley, but that hasn't enhanced his CV - who really cares?

And where does all this division hopping leave Mundine - in limbo?

The Pioneer is a counter puncher and heavily relies on his opponent try to set up.
This is where IMO The Pioneer does his best work.
The last four rounds of the Medley stoush really showed The Pioneer to be where he was years ago and he hasn't stepped up. When confronted with a barrage and gets tagged he falls to pieces in his defence. It's going to take an onslaught throughout 12 rounds for Ndou.
A punches chance is a shitty appraisal of a guy with Ndous resume. Especially of late.

 

Mate the extra 7 kgs is all the difference....No disrespect to Lovemore at all...its 2 divisions up....thats why I say punchers chance

If its at 154 then its a fair fight and quite interesting.....but not at 160 IMO

 

Yeah my Brother has tendered for a few gigs like that....hes got 5 SAS guys working for him doing armed protection and **** overseas.
