    Wood won the contender when no-one expected, if kariz had fought him outside the realm of the contender he would have been taking flak, but wood won. And I agree ndou is kidding himself.

    Ndou would give it a red-hot go, but is certainly kidding himself, and Wood is just plain not ready.

    Geale II was the perfect challenge whilst waiting for bigger things, if that's indeed what team Mundine are doing.

    It's been done to death, but Mundine needs to step up while his body allows it, not sideways and backwards.

    End of the day Mundine was set to fight the winner of the contender.....if it was Kariz or Victor it may have been ok but because its Wood it's not.

    Wood beat these 2 guys...everybody says yeah but it was only 7 rounds....so what? Both Victor and Karix knew that as well....they could load up without fear of gassing out so the fact that Wood stayed on his feet and won showed hes good and hes tough.

    Going 7 rounds against Kariz and winning is very good....you cant be a **** fighter and beat him.

    Yes I know about 10 or 12 rounds being another game and yes I agree it
    is....however nobody on here will admit Garth beat Victor and Kariz and deserves to get a shot :deal

    Well, you're certainly wound up now eh? :lol:

    Add:
    • one claim of schooling to;
    • a silly assumption (that I believe Mundine to be a non-entity or insignificant to Australian boxing);
    • mix in an untruth (that I post about him constantly);
    • throw in an exaggeration (the reference to 10,000 of my posts being about Mundine);
    • blend with equal parts deluded self-importance ("haters hate it...") and a projection ("I know I get to you...")
    RESULT: yet another pathetic Mundine nuthugger, who cannot accept even the slightest criticism about his hero and instead projects his own insecurities all over whoever happens to be nearby at the time :lol:

    Good to see you've edited the title of the thread to advise of your dummy-spitting :yep

    I wouldn't put it past Mundine to fight Ndou at 160. Typical Mundine opponent. Mundine wouldn't stop him either.

    He did beat them, and under the terms of 'The Contender' series he did rightfully win a shot at Mundine.

    But what's it going to prove if Wood fights Mundine now?

    1/ That Mundine is vastly more experienced and likely to cruise to an easy win.
    2/ That the convincing loss will set Wood's emerging career backwards when he needs to progress with more realistic challenges.
    3/ That the further waste of time in Mundine's career won't achieve anything other than a payday - probably a comparitively small one.

    Where's the gain in this for anybody??

    Back in best form I see Ash.

    The 'Passportless Pioneer' is on the threshold of rocketing bravely on towards imortality then!
