Salido was throwing aimed combos right at Loma's balls while
the shoney's big boy was staring right at him.

 

Right at his balls, huh? You mean, right on the belt line of Lomachenko's very high trunks?

Salido got him low plenty of times and some were doubtless intentional, but for most of the night Salido was just hitting Lomachenko around the waistline, a lot of the South of the border stuff just collateral damage with Lomachenko choosing to hike them up so high.

square in the sack. Not all but at least 3/4 just in that video showed
compete blatant fouling. Dude! look at the time Salido lowered his head
from afar and went with 2 straights right into Loma's jewels. You're in
denial or you had a wager on Salido you're trying to defend.
Salido was Golota-esque Saturday night.

 

Keep in mind that those shots were counted as landed body punches by compubox and the judges, and with those included Lomachenko still landed 20 more punches. Take away Salido's 'body punches' and Lomachenko landed 50 more punches, and at a far higher percentage. I don't know how anyone can score that fight for Salido when all he displayed was ineffective aggression all fight. Lomachenko didn't do much but at least he still landed more scoring punches, and when he turned it up Salido was holding on for his life. Then you take into account Salido's weight advantage and not making weight in the first place, the fact that it was a split decision.... and you still have people claiming that Lomachenko was exposed, should take it slowly from now on, doesn't deserve another title shot immediately?... Those people DKSAB and need to put things in perspective. Lomachenko deserves a world of credit for wanting the fight and he deserves credit for his performance. He was very very unlucky to not walk away with the title, if he paced himself a bit better there would've been no argument. He was clearly many levels above Salido in the sport of boxing.

Are you talking about the video in the OP, which is a condensed minute of footage put together with the express purpose of making Salido look bad, or are you talking about the entire fight?

 

I'm the biggest Lomachenko fan around and I'm very pleased with how the fight went overall, especially considering what he was up against. I don't care that he lost his 0, he proved himself and he's not going to lose again as a pro. Salido was dirty, that can't be denied. But it's the ref's fault for allowing it. Lomachenko's corner should've complained as well. It's done now, onto bigger and better things.

 

Lomachenko had to fight a welterweight and his personal referee Laurence Cole. Cole is an idiot, the worst referee in boxing today..............It would have done no good for Lomachenko to complain to Salido's referee Cole, as Cole appeared to be on the take........The holding? Compare Lomachenko's clinching with Salido's holding late in the fight, esp. after Salido was out on his feet. Cole also allowed Salido to constantly hit on the break, the low blows were to the legs, hips, balls, etc., so for those who claim that low blows are legal, send in a petition to change the decision for Bowe/Golota..............ASAP! Cole always does a bad job and should be suspended for life...............

Stop hyping up guys that've yet to prove themselves against any form of an effective opponent which excludes the likes of cab drivers, tomato cans, punching bags or any other variant of bum. This includes Lucian Bute, and GGG. These guys are hype jobs. If you can't get past Salido then start making excuses it means your butt hurt and validate such female contraptions...
