Absolutley , career defining fights , ive argued this one out with a few people , especially the Kevin one and its been laughed off by many , but Mitchell and Brook are hungry animals and imo could hang with these two ..............

 

I dont see why not mate. At some stage every fighter needs to take a chance and put their reputation on the line....and what better way than against the two you mentioned. Even if they dont pull of the wins they're looking for, the exposure and experience will be awesome. A defeat doesn't mean they would be finished does it.

 

These two fights are the ultimate sink or swim scenario's for Mitchell and Brook , i think there terrific fights for both , its like the old cliche goes ive waited my whole life for this opportunity , could you imagine the zone Brook & Mitchell would be in preparing in the gym for these 2 !!!!!!

 

You wouldnt , its very very unlikeley , Brook brings **** all to the table financially , and is a hungry powerfull young man @47 !!!!! , Cotto wouldnt wanna know ................

 

You do what Frank Warren did with Kosta for Ricky Hatton....pay him a few quid to get over and back your fighter to do a number on him. You've got a contract on your man anyway so if he wins your laughin all the way. Whether its the right time right now is a different thread :think

Going back 18 months i would of laughed anybody out the park mentioning Mitchell in same breath as Marquez but after seeing the success Diaz got with Marquez by basically utilising a size and strength combo , i give Kevin a fighting chance m8 i really do , i beleive Marquez is shot , with a large question mark over that comment as we have only the Mayweather fight to go off really , but Casa and Diaz asked everything of Marquez , and predominantly im basing my arguments off that , i know he stopped them both , but thats Marquez he's an elite level fighter and thats what they do , i just dont know if he's got anything like that left in him , its doubtfull .

Im not saying Mitchell is gonna do this or that im just stating for me if i was Warren id be desperate to get this on ................

Im not sure Hatton Mitchell would appeal to anybody at all , Mitchell is looking to emulate Hatton , he's said that a few times , by being the man to put the nail in Hattons coffin could only do him harm , and i think you'd have to be real stupid to see Mitchell as just a decent domestic level opponent !!!!!!!!!!!!!
