    Yeah i know i know.........

Well as i have been told, removing the fat from there wont work doing 1000 different types of situp/crunch, you have to run also. Is there other ways i can incorporate some techniques/manouvres into shedding the fat from there ? Im getting good top half and mid "lines" etc but this wee pudge of belly.

I have been told that there isnt such a thing as being able to shed fats from specific areas ? Is this true ?

Btw, i aint looking for some " get rich plan " just other things i can incorporate into my routine.

Doing a lot of various ab work and ma running and weights.

Also have doubled up on my routine, well, i do it all then one or the other again sometime in the day.

    Any advice appreciated

    Cheers

What he said. Just keep burning off the fat and the lower part of your abs will become visible.

It means that you can't train your lower or upper ab, just your ab as a whole. It's like training your upper bicep, it can't be done. It doesn't really apply as you weren't asking for specific lower ab routines, you were asking about spot reduction (shedding fat in a specific place). Which is just as impossible :D

Cheers for the replys, would be lying if i said it was just about feeling good physically, i certainly wanna see the results too. The training is becoming really good and im realizing the diet is going to have to be jut as dedicted, if not more.

    Cheers

Very true, i am more or less doing the same sort of training i always have but in the last 6 weeks i have cleaned my diet up. I am seeing results physically and mentally as i feel much better and confident within myself now.

You can do leg raises apparently to assist in making them more prominent.

Not strictly true. Of course you cant spot loose weight. BUT you can work your core with specific excercises. Working your core targets your lower abdominals than it will the top part of your abs. Remember the Diaphragm/abdominals and surrounding muscles are a large sheet of muscle. Its important to compliment that with lower back exercises as well.

Conversely you can work diffrent portions of your biceps. Builders use diffrent excercises all the time to hit diffrent parts of the bicep. IE if your seperation is poor you can use cables to work your peak and middle of the bicep. Using the EZ bar you can do 21's for the top middle and bottom of the biceps. But to be honest you'll only see hardcore gym rats and pro's doing that.

:thumbsup They'll increase your core strength but you wont see them more prominent. Abs only become more prominent as you loose fat. The lower your BF the more prominent your muscle ratio will be.

Get on the rowing machine. Awesome for the abs glutes calves arms traps and back. Rowing works a TON of muscles all at the same time.
