Records like that exist for a reason. That's why I went with Triple C(along with him being an underappreciated top notch world class operator) Bin was rushed by his handlers and as a result they will probably get less out of him than they would have had they moved him slower.

Was it a close fight? Or did Canizales **** him up easily.

Cañizales is a top notch(top 3) operator at the weight though. Got shafted for the full version against Taguchi back in 2016. He's elite. This would have been a great feat had Bin pulled it off.

Bin maybe won 2 rounds. Competitive in stretches but pretty one-sided overall. Bin is young so he might be able to recover from such a bad loss, but at the same time it wouldn't come as a shock if he's ruined as a result. He took a hammering.

Eh. I thought it was a close fight. 115-113 either way. Don't think it was a clear win by Canizales. But then again I did root for Taguchi and just like Kovalev fans, fans of a fighter tend to be more biased when scoring for their fighter.

Never heard of Bin prior. I at least heard of Zou Shiming before his debut. Weird he got this title shot. Loma had a ton of hype behind him so I understand why he got his shot too.

Bin was definitely an elite amateur who was on the radar of Asian Boxing hardcore's, but other than that he was definitely unknown to the general public. Probably was seen as marketable in that region hence getting fast tracked for the belt. It was a massive risk but could have paid very well had it come through.

True. I respect him for not going the Zou Shiming route. So much money in the China market.

    WBA Super or WBA Regular?

If it’s WBA Regular, then it simply isn’t a world title fight and will not beat the record.

Just as rocky fielding definitely isn’t a world champion atm, he knows he isn’t, and everyone else in the division knows he isn’t. It’s just a strap that allows the WBA and the boxer to make a little extra money, biggest con in boxing!

It doesn't matter anyways. He got steam rolled. That being said Cañizales is a legit top 3 fighter at the weight, Fielding isn't a top 10 guy at SMW.

will be watching the next CCC fight after that performance, and bin was better than I thought he was going to be. He has a good left hand but canizales was too much with the pressure.

The end result is Bin chased history and came up short
Canizales put himself on the map of Western fans who were wanting to see Manny
The division will get an increase in fan base
Bin showed he was tough, stylistically this was all wrong for him but I'm glad to see fighters chase history and dream of being special.

As for CCC being top 3 divisional, I'm not sure if I scored him beating Konishi by a particularly wide margin, and Konishi looked like ass on Friday. You have guys like Budler, Ken Shiro, Acosta, Alvarado, Guevara, Taconing, Melindo, Palangpol, Petalcorin but the best thing is he looks like he'll happily face those guys so we'll get the chance to find out.

Been saying it for a while but 108 is having a golden age.
