Lubin will be back. He's only 22 YO. Will rise just like khan & badou jack

Lubin is still a fantastic prospect who made some fatal mistakes in tonights fight (southpaw stepping inside a orthordox fighters foot) which lead to a devestating KO.

but not so devesating that it popped his cherry. He wasn't lights out, his body just wasn't cooperating. I think with a new (world class) trainer and a few fights to readjust some mistakes, he can get right back into the championship fray at 54. No big deal....

Charlo was just locked in tonight.

He''ll be fine but this sorta reminds of the J-rock- Jermall fight. Lubin probably won't get a title shot for 3 years. By that time he he'll be a man. This fight felt odd from the beginning. Lubin is still a baby! Charlo is a full grown man

Lubin should not have had a title shot, it was too early..................

J-Rock, while also sort of a green prospect rushed too fast, was quite a bit more proven than Lubin and has more upside going forward as he did heading into challenging a Charlo.

Williams had like 5 or 6 wins better than Jorge freaking Cota.

    Yup...

    Maybe his teams to blame...
    Maybe he needed the money...

Either way they bite off too much but no reason to believe he can't bounce back. By the time he's 25 he'll be back in championship conversations and he'll still be super young growing into his physical prime.

That was the second best definition of popping a cherry that I can think of.

I actually forgot about dj... he's another guy who bounced back no problem. I expect lubin to follow in their footsteps.

    Based on what?

They both are probably comparable. Jacobs was a highly touted amateur who was supposed to be an Olympic hopeful just like lubin. Jacobs was 23 when he got TKOd. A year more of fights would have prepped lubin even more for this.

    I think it's a very valid comment

Once they crack, they don't come back...

His glass jaw has been exposed. Other fighters will know they can shatter that china chin.

Like Khan getting cracked by Prescott then beating Maidana. Or when Badou Glass got shattered and never came back.... Oh wait you're wrong

Here's a close look at how the early mistakes lubin made cost him big.

How many times did Khan get KTFO after the Prescott fight again?

Jack is just a KO waiting to happen, soon.

You need a CHIN in boxing!
