Leal jumping in and hammering down on Andino. Lots of punches, mostly skimming off the backside, but the crowd is getting fired up. Andino tries clinching but Leal wrestles him off by pushing his arms down, and keeps bashing away on him with the right hand. Andino gets free and prods him with some jabs before falling over to his side, and then moving in to clinch. Jab and uppercut on the face by Andino before sliding outside on the ball of either foot. Andino reaches in and scores a flurry, backs away from Leal to avoid his return salvo, and ties up.

Andino is dancing around, crisscrossing his legs, cutting the corners and buoying off the ropes where needed. Quick single jabs on the chest by Andino before diving in to hold Leal around the waist. Andino not daring throw much beyond a two-piece as he carefully tiptoes around the ring, never allowing Leal room to get set and pound on him. Leal marches after him missing and getting pot shotted.

The ring announcer botched that reading. He said "decisión por mayoría" in the beginning, then read the first scorecard for Leal, and then when the second was "empate", the audience sort of all collectively groaned like, oh, great, no suspense on that last scorecard, thanks pal.

 

Oh well, sooner or later Leal is on a collision course with the #1 rated welter in Argentina, who just happens to be La Joya's kid brother, Brian Damián Chaves. I'm sure he'll want some revenge for the family.

His only defeat is via KO1 to Jeremias Nicolas Ponce, but Leal, while he was the lesser of two feather-fists versus Andino, doesn't pack nearly as much punch as Ponce.

 

Who is this pale trashy wiggerette? I certainly hope not a major recording artist, because her live performing capabalities are being exposed here. She's been winded since her second verse.

 

Lucas Brian Ariel Bastida vs. Juán Manuel Taborda, 10 rounds @ middleweight

 

This is a unficiation of the South American title (4th defense of Bastida) with the WBO Latino title (1st defense of Taborda, previously long vacant as Gabriel Rosado drew with Luís Arias last time it was contested) at 160lbs.

 

Practically a battle of unbeatens, as Bastida's only loss was a TKO due to a cut from a clash of heads that was mishandled by the officials.
