Big difference between Wilson & Commonwealth Title level. 1 step at a time....if he struggles with Wilson he still has a long long way to go.
Agreed he's hardly fought the who's who of aussie boxing,so the commonwealth title may be a reach as yet.Goodluck to him regardless....
Good to see a fighter aiming for the traditional route. I think it'll be interesting to see what he weighs in at.
No doubt....in a couple of his bouts Browne showed up well out of shape...this time he has had plenty of time, so he should be in tip top condition.
I've seen some footage of the sparring sessions he's been having. Better than some fights I've seen. He looks to be in good shape.
should be a very intresting fight, whilst i was almost going to say Wilson is shot, its another Tarver V Green in the making imo. Wilsons experiance should get him this one, initally i favourd Browne but something tells me the old school wilson is going to pull off another upset.
If the Col that fought Kirby last shows up for this fight, then its an easy early win for browne. If any version of the ol Col comes to fight then I can't see how he can lose this one. Browne is as raw as raw can get.
thats half the problem when you fight someone as season as wilson, shot or not. He can smell the rawness and he will rise to the occasion, very gutsy matchup from him managment i must say.
Wilson certainly does have a habit of rocking the boat. Wins over Nathan Briggs (KO5 x 2), Alex Leapai (W12), Hoppa (KO4) and a draw with Sol Haumono all indicate he can take a less experienced fighter into deep waters.
Good that's exactly what Brown needs to take s step forward, would be a good fight to watch by the sounds of it...
