Indeed, nice job landing the fight Matt. Am sure Lucas is stoked.

Good luck to Lucas Browne on securing his first overseas fight :good

Pardon me for not getting excited when his opponent is the 36 year old Paul Butlin who hasn't won a fight in 4 years, and has lost his past 11 straight fights.

    Likewise:good

Wish the guy well, but its going to be hard when he raises the level after Butlin....because he will always be the B side opponent against a top 10 Heavy UK Brit.

I know Wilson looked shocking in the Aus title fight, but ive never seen a h/weight as relaxed against a s/paw as big daddy. Best of luck

Lucas Browne is on the improve. Taking on a solid journeyman in Europe is a great step in the right direction. This is about getting a foot in the door and then some better pay days with increasing exposure. I doubt there is a harder training HW in this country....best of luck he has nothing to prove to the doubters and everything to prove to himself.

11 fights into his career and the detractors are ever ready....

Id like to see him fight Ben Edwards, ben would take the fight in a heart beat, Lucas mentioned after the wilson fight that they sparred on many occasion and Edwards always got the best but he said that was kickboxing and he isnt good with his feet.. Lets see him clean out the Aus ranks first....

What is it with the infatuation of keeping Aussie fighters trapped on these shores continually testing themselves against part time fighters banging on for peanuts?

Banging Benny is not much with his feet either

All the fights iv seen ben in were all heavy punching and very rarely a leg kick. That would be a great fight for the title IMO

Edwards does **** all past round three.....gases immeasurably. I doubt he has ever won a fight in any discipline past the 3rd.
