Because the agendas on here are so ****ing obvious and I'm sick it. Everyone just STFU with your stupid proxy opinions, hyping up or minimizing guys depending on how it vicariously affects the image of the guys you're REALLY a fan or hater of. So many people on here are guilty of it, from @CST80 on down (except unlike most he's self-aware enough to have at least admitted this fault in the past, though I think even he doesn't always 100% realize when he's doing it), just talk about each individual fight or fighters in a vacuum and check all your stupid ulterior motive proxy war baggage at the door.

The people trying desperately to convince themselves Browne would destroy Whyte (and now desperately grasping at straws to make excuses and throw Browne under the bus, anything to avoid giving Whyte credit) will so the same to any Joshua opponent, guaranteed.

I don't even like Joshua all that much but the agendas here are disgustingly obvious, like I said. Give or take maybe a handful of Aussies that really did earnestly (if stupidly) believe in Browne the rest of his supporters before he fought Whyte in truth were all just hopeful Joshua haters.

Butt is serving a nice cold dish of crow but none of the usual yipping small dog suspects around here have much of an appetite for the truth.

    Same old, same old.

Then everyone can GTF off my board as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather have 1% the forum activity but have it all be of a higher degree of integrity and intellectual honesty than all the idiotic shell-game BS we see on here every day.

If people can't discuss a fight without HAVING TO circle it back to how it relates to a small handful of fighters then I see no point in having a forum. I put up with enough of this crap in the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao years; I am DONE tolerating it.

"Browne in the 5th/6th round ( Cinderella man video beat up and bloodied needing to dig for victory)" there's another great post of mine you missed in your revisionist BS. What Browne achieved in his career is extraordinary for a guy with such limited skills, with nothing but a great punch, who didn't start boxing until he was 31. God forbid we follow and support potential cinderella man stories. David Price to KO Povetkin inside 3 rounds.

I suspect Price may also become a highlight reel ko meme after Povetkin finishes with him but like Browne he can hit hard so there always a chance...

In the different forum sections, why don't you create an "uppity anal retentive boxing forum" section for people who get triggered by supportive fans.

I'm not bothered by supportive fans. I mean, I am (PacDBest types spouting how their guy is perfect & walks on water and can do no wrong and can't lose without a million excuses are quite annoying, in fact) but at least they're intellectually honest.

I have a feeling at least 8/10 if not 9/10 of the so-called Big Daddy fans chatting all the **** about Whyte never really cared a lick about Browne, they were just randy to see Joshua's resume take an indirect hit.

Oh, I'm 100% always aware of it, although I'll downplay the fact that I'm doing it the best I can. However in some cases like with Browne, it has nothing to do with, "I dislike AJ, so therefore if he beats Whyte that makes AJ look bad," BS, I personally genuinely like Lucas and was rooting for him fully to succeed. I'm completely aware of his glaring like the sun at midday flaws, and stated them all in my Educate Yourselves thread I did on him. But, like you, I'm not all that thrilled with the Heavyweight division in general, and especially this era, so I do think that someone with a good enough punch and chin can will themselves to a title. I mean..... Wilder is a champ, that says it all right there. So Browne while I was under no delusion that he was good enough to beat Parker, Wlad, Ortiz, much less Wilder, Povetkin or Wilder, I had my fingers crossed Whyte (who's clearly the superior boxer) would get drawn into a war like he did with Chisora and get KTFO. Which is always a possibility with a guy like Whyte, who has a slightly unhinged temperament, oh well, he intelligently decided to play it safe here.

The division is in horrid shape, and quite frankly, aside from Usyk and Gassiev moving up, I couldn't care less about any of them, or any of the new guys that just turned pro.

That being said, I hate all the spin doctoring and propaganda as much as you do, and I call it out every time I see it, and at least when I do it, most of the time anyway.... I make it fairly obvious with a wink and a nod.

No agendas from me in my incorrect prediction and hands up I got it wrong. Look no one expected Lucas to have spent most his training camp in the local pub and fish and chip shop.

Browne came into the fight as a fat mess, who was barely able to move.

Clearly that was not something we could have predicted. With the rumours of increased weight I assumed he was back on the PEDs, has done some weights, and therefore had a great chance.

What entered the ring was a beached whale turning up for a pay day. The fight was completely one sided.

I think he tried in training camp but given the lack of boxing knowledge in Australia he had no idea what he needed to do to win..

Add the guys he was sparing with from the local pub and you have a recipe for disaster..

Really he was a semi pro guy trying to compete in the big leagues..

Let be honest Whyte's form has been terrible but he had a far more professional team behind him and had been fighting...

Browne actually believed his own hype without doing the work..

The horizon looks promising though - I think another HW golden age could be around the corner. a lot of top and solid amateurs have turned over recently, there's a good chance Usyk and Gassiev will move up soon etc.
