I don't see how several of these guys couldn't go on to be at least as good as Parker or Wilder if not better. Point still stands it's a welcomed change to an otherwise dull landscape.... Also sets a precedent for more amateur talent to make the switch again as many top amateurs like Cammarelle and Majidov opted not to switch in the last decade or so(a huge blow to the HW division)
I know. He still did way better than Browne. Bear in mind Helenius took the fight to Whyte in the first two rounds and rocked him before going into his shell. Browne tried to do the same but couldn't got out the way of the Whyte jab, was cut over the eye and looking clueless. When he got ko'd he was already on the verge of being pulled out. Helenius took no damage I could see, although he did next to nothing for 10 rounds.
Brown had not business fighting at all, he looked like he was 70 years old..................he needs to retire............although the cut eye could have caused him a legit problem, bad luck...............
