You said muscle or fat.. And either way, no it doesn’t. You can be fat and or muscley and be EXTREMELY FIT. What matters is lung capacity. Obviously the more muscle you have the better fitness is required, as oxygen travels through muscles, but not fat, requiring more oxygen for someone who is muscle bound.
He can't come in at 130 kg (like the poster suggested) and be "extremely fit" in a cardiovascular sense for a 12 rounder. An already extremely fit athlete like Browne can't gain 25+ lbs and get fitter for a largely cardiovascular domain like boxing.
Yea he could you idiot!! Ffs I just explained how fitness works, it ain’t weight that’s the biggest factor
I thought you were joking at 1st, he may not have the best technique or necessarily be the biggest puncher in the division but he definitely has power the guys that have lasted the distance were guys that basically nobody has been able to stop
Rudenko and Toney have never been stopped in their careers, and both have lasted the distance against other world-class big hitters, granite chins. Apart from them 2, despite his average boxing skills, like Wilder, Browne has KOed every man he has faced.
Lucas will render this thug completely unconscious with Whyte being like the dog that's been barking with threatening intentions before it's mercilessly kicked in the chops to be put to sleep after the mutt lets out it's last shriek.
I might be way off the mark here..But Browne's lung capacity is the same if he weighed 260 or 280.So at 280, fat or muscle and it will probably be fat.He must gas earlier ? Lung capacity won't go up if you eat 10 kebabs a week.
130kg would be a mistake. I suppose people arguing that weight doesn't affect fitness are part right - it won't deplete your ability to do the same amount of work, but doing STUFF with an extra 15kg of resistance means more work... meaning more fitness required to do the equivalent amount of stuff. Way back when I was training I had a period where I lost a bunch of weight when I hadn't been doing much sparring or any extra fitness work - I basically stopped eating as much **** haha, and ended being asked to do sparring with someone getting ready for a fight and I'd laid down a bunch of caveats of "I've not done sparring recently, I don't know that I'm going to be very helpful to you but I'm happy to help" and I was straight up shocked at how much easier it was. Movement, endurance etc was basically as good as it'd ever been... I think I did the equal most consecutive rounds of solid sparring that I'd ever done and never reached the "oh **** I'm going to die/puke" stage I'd previously experienced when doing anywhere near that amount of hard rounds. It was a seriously huge eye-opener, and we're not talking >10kg here - I can't remember exacts but I think it was from around 90kg down to low 80kg (~200lb down to ~180lb) on a 6ft frame. Tbh in some of the pics I seriously do doubt whether 130kg is accurate or just banter, I'd have guessed near 120kg tops... and I would say <120kg would be much much smarter unless he only intends on the fight lasting 3 rounds.
KOed eh? As in out cold? I'd be curious to comb through his record and count just how many of the people this bone-crushing monster has stopped were actually knocked out.
FWIW Travis Walker told me he's the hardest hitter he's faced. Said his jab was the heaviest and surprisingly upon him quicker than he thought.
