We actually had a lot of posters a few years ago that thought Browne was a hidden away gem that was going to brutally KO top heavyweights left and right when he finally got his big "chance".

They were a very vocal and enthusiastic group of fans but like all band wagoners you don't hear much from them after the fact.

They were in full force before the Whyte fight. Have quickly disappeared since

Of course they have, they're about as legitimate fans as their man Browne is a boxer!

Even mild drugs for anxiety like beta blockers will slow an athlete down both physically and mentally plus they even slow down the metabolism. Let alone serious anti depressants.

On a side note, luis ortiz was fighting on beta blockers lol

If Brown somehow ends up in the ring with Joyce, expect a dive after the first semi-clean punch lands.

Browne although he looked night and day better against a fat washed up and disinterested Chagaev, still looked pretty poor and got busted up, dropped and was behind before getting the stoppage. He's a character, fun guy to watch and considering his late start and lack of a proper background a decent success - but yeah.... Definitely was overhyped by some.

When a guy is going life and death with an ancient Julius Long who's 15 about years removed from even fringe relevancy, fans should take the hint. And what serious heavyweights ever bothered to pad their record with the likes of Chauncy Welliver?

There were warning signs almost the entire way with Browne. He should have taken a L against Rudenko as far as I'm concerned.

Hey now.... Julius Long is finally hitting his stride and is coming for the belt. Upset win over Tupou who dropped Jennings, he himself hurt Browne and Uganoh. Long 2019 unified heavyweight champ after stopping the Joshua/Wilder winner for all of the glory!

Browne is looking past it, mentally and physically. I was shocked at his performance against Dillian Whyte - some people may possibly be a bit surprised when Whyte faces an antipodean opponent who not too long ago people were debating would lose if he faced Browne.
