Prime for prime Lewis would wreck him, Chagaev hurt him bad, Lewis' right hand would be on another level, it wouldn't go 3 rounds. Even Lewis at his worst against Rahman or McCall would beat Browne, hell Rahman and McCall would likely beat Browne.
And beating up and then melting down twice against Bowe and losing was the pinacle of an overhyped fighter. Fought 4 times for the title and stopped in 1 round in 2 of them, lost to Ruiz and then got the draw with Byrd. Throw into the pot he quit against Tyson, quit against the hype job Grant and then was kod again in the 1st against Austin. Great resume. Lennox destroys Browne 3 rounds max. But Browne vs Golota would be a 50/50 fight.
Who cares, Browne became the first Aussie world heavyweight champ today, huge effort. :happy:happy:happy:happy
:goodAgreed. This is a great post. Lennox Lewis is one of the greatest heavyweights ever, but Lucas deserves congratulations for his effort last night:good. No one can take away from what he has just achieved.
It was a solid performance, but no, Browne isn't a world heavyweight champ and will most likely never be.
Here is a list of the current world champions: WBC: Wilder WBA: Fury IBF: Martin WBO: Fury IBO: Fury Browne is a regular WBA champ, what ever that means, but he is not a world champion and neither was Chagaev.
Cheers:good. 5 organizations. Would love to see all the champs in their respective weight classes unified, but we all know that's not going to happen anytime soon. But it certainly appears Tyson Fury is the best of the lot.
He wouldn't last long with Lewis.but fair play the bloke won by Ko in the other guys back yard he can now make some top dosh a couple of easy defense's down under then a big fight against one of the other champions.Good work bloke.
