I was impressed with how well Browne boxed against Chagaev, I think he's a bit better than I originally thought, if that Browne shows up I can see him winning a decision or stopping Ruiz late as I think he has more raw power than Parker. Though that's against the Ruiz Jr that fought Parker. We've really only seen Ruiz Jr fight once at top level. He did well but unless he can stop Browne I think his low work rate will mean he will struggle to get a decision. Andy has the greater potential, his technique and talent is greater but it will come down to what shape he comes in at. He's looking leaner than ever before, in recent photo's so if he can come in at a good weight, he could overcome his usual lack of work rate. I'm favouring Browne at the moment. He showed enough movement and boxing ability against Chagaev to out point Ruiz Jr for me. But I'd need to see the new slimmer Ruiz Jr in action before being confident with my pick, the weight loss might make Andy faster and more elusive with superior upper body movement, something that is hard when seriously overweight.
Apparently Ruiz has shed lots and lots of weight. Whether the lack of extra weight will allow him too withstand heavy blows i dont know. Ruiz wide UD or Browne by a Derry Matthews esq KO
Have to see it to believe it, if he lost massive amounts of weight he'd be a cruiser. And if he comes in light Browne will crush his bones
Looks in much better shape but looks like 220 there. Might as well pedal to the metal roadwork get down to 210, then cut 10 pounds of water weight. Also that was six months ago he could have gained the blubber back he has been known to do so
