Kind of. Not exactly. I was up to speed in terms of the watching, but a little behind posting.

I was being taken out by Mrs. Butt for my late birthday dinner and we obviously weren't going to make it home in time so I found out how to watch the action on my smartphone (which is a 3G piece of crap three generations' worth obsolete) but that meant having to switch to a different browser window to post RBR posts since you can only display one window onscreen at once. I was having to memorize three minutes' worth of action to comprise each post instead of typing as I go like usual and then rush to fill them in from memory during the minute break in between rounds, which obviously didn't work as that is hardly enough time for typing on a little touchscreen with man-fingers. Then my battery started dying around the mid-3rd so I had to close the ESB browser window. Shortly after the KO my phone died altogether so I had to keep restarting it and make the R4 and R5 posts while the indicator was flashing red and threatening imminent death again.

Yes, very good. Pile on the snark. You are of course still quite welcome for the dedication of recording my (sort of) live commentary for posterity reduced to watching and typing on a technologically retrograde piece of junk in a noisy restaurant. Because the zero I make for doing this is thanks enough. :good

Alright, now that I have got the vindictive guilt tripping outta the way... :D

During the interview (which is where my phone initially went kaput), Browne stated that he came in knowing there would be a home for his big right hand, as there always is. He was conscious of how many of his set-up left hooks were missing and how open they left him, knowing eventually he would hit paydirt with the big right hand. He says he trained himself for this and is 'between coaches' at the moment. He says he is more than ready to challenge for David Price's Commonwealth belt, and questions whether Price himself is ready coming off two stoppage losses to make a defense against such a big puncher as himself.

At the same time, he manages to come off humble by acknowledging he still has a lot to learn on the job having not had much amateur experience.

At least your mrs is understanding of your need to post the round by round. Sounds like a keeper.

Browne had sparred Towers before so formulating a plan probably wasn't that difficult.

Towers was poor on the night. Browne didn't look that great to me either.

    :hey

We actually had begun to settle the bill during the ring introductions, and our son was raising a fuss. She took him off to shop a bit and I told her I'd not be long as this clown was going to get KTFO in 2, flat.

When I caught up with them in the shops later on she asked "so his chin was at least a little better than you thought, eh?" :yep
